Should the Scribing Merchant sell Skill Scrolls?

We know that these first three Skill Scrolls are sourced from the Night Market Event Zone:

But we also know that we may get more in the future, possibly sourced from other places. After all, there was a feedback thread on the PTS asking us which other skills we would like to see added as Skill Scrolls.

Knowing that the Scribing merchant sells materials like Grimoires and Scripts, it sounds reasonable to assume that maybe other paper-based magical items like Skill Scrolls might be sold there as well. However, the Grimoires and Scripts are materials used for Scribing specifically; it wouldn't make sense to throw non-Scribing items in his shop. On the other hand, once your character owns every Grimoire and Script, you don't have a use for the shop anymore, so having Skill Scrolls be added to the weekly rotation would give you a reason to return, given that Skill Scrolls are consumables.

What do you think?

Would rather these be craftable, but once again I’ll bring up that these are a problem.

Good players will quick swap these on the fly in combat, and seeing how they each have different timers, there will be a quick-slot pathing meta, forcing players to play a menu mini-game in combat.

Death Knight [Grave Lord, Winter’s Embrace, Siphoning]
Pyromancer [Ardent Flame, Dawn’s Wrath, Earthen Heart]
Summoner [Living Death, Grave Lord, Daedric Summoning]
Ranger [Animal Companions, Green Balance, Shadow]
Druid [Earthen Heart, Animal Companions, Stormcalling]
Elementalist [Stormcalling, Winter’s Embrace, Ardent Flame]
Dawnguard [Dawn’s Wrath, Restoring Light, Ardent Flame]

I would personally rather see it phased into the crafting system because it feels like it's been ages since we got a meaningful crafting update and I'm restless for that. I know logistically there are a few hurdles to this but I think those can also be addressed too.

I'd rather these stay event items that are limited in quantity rather than becoming a staple of gameplay. We need some stuff from events that shakeup gameplay everywhere temporarily to make them more fun imo.

100% this. Each season having different skill scrolls resultinig in meta shifts makes things exciting. Limited in quantity just enough that they're a nice boon when available, and not so plentiful that making them a staple requirement could be reasonably feasible.

Maybe we should see how these play out before we make a decision.

Edit: I voted wrong. I thought these were skill styles.
