Warden class refresh: please don't make warden just an Ice Wizard!

Warden is my 2nd favorite but it is the frankenstein class.
Agree with others that Frost damage skills should be on the new class or some other (Sorcerer?), and removed from Warden entirely.
Warden should be poison and bleed damage.

    1) What winter / ice / frost / whatever has anything with Y'ffre, Green and nature?

    2) I absolutely can't stand Morrowind animals and bugs used by Warden.
They are hideous and completely unappropriate as Dunmer and Morrowind have nothing in common with Y'ffre, Green and nature.
At least give us skill styles to change them so Dunmer / Morrowind players don't get shafted.

    Here is the idea:
Create animal companions styles based on animals from:
    a) Valenwood (this should be from the start),
    b) Summerset, and
    c) Galen.

Sell for crowns, seals, be earnable in game (new Gold Coast Baazar) or whatever.

Nocturnal Crow and Murder of Crows are I guess nice, but I'm not into Daedric Princes.
Aldmeri Dominion (PC EU via Steam)

The cowardly Wood Elves are best noted for their unwillingness to engage in a face-to-face attack; a Bosmer will strike at you from every side except the front. You won't cross swords with a Bosmer, but you might catch an arrow in the throat. Be wary in forests and jungles, and watch your back.

The class does seem to be a bit of a miss match between what should be two separate class archetypes. And as an individual skill line I think frost focused Cyromancer style gameplay would be more fitting in the Necromancer kit but that's just one man's opinion (and as DD skills not magicka tanking, which should be scrapped [or implemented into a 1h without shield spellsword skill set using wards for example])

I think leaning heavily into the nature theme (both damage and healing) and beast mastery (damage and tanking?) is the optimal and most popular direction to take the Warden. Understanding the frost aspect probably isn't going anywhere else but in an ideal world I think dropping it and having the class be set of Druid/Shaman (nature or elements), Beastmaster and "Survivalist/Scout" (thinking dots and cc focus) skill lines would be the most thematic.

I'm holding out hope they go really hard with the animal companion skills and let us really customise which animals we use in those skills. There's a ton of cool creatures that would make great pets for the ultimate or serve well thematically in the other skills. The Vvardenfell aesthetic needs to be unmoored from the class's core identity entirely so different races can use animals that come from the various biomes in Tamriel and therefore better synergise aesthetically with the race chosen by the player.

    giving Bleed to NB).
NB with focus on bleed damage would be perfect for Jack Slash RP.

Exactly a no-ice Warden just like a no-poison DK. Less variation is refreshing. Just buff the bomber related skills, buff charm and drop the less meta things. They make the class more interesting, but my Guild/Ball Group doesn't like them so no one else would really want them either.

I initially thought that making classes deal single-attribute damage might be disadvantageous, but today my friend, using the New-DK with Xanmeer Spellweaver, dealt 140K damage, completely changed my mind.

Making classes deal single-attribute damage will make previously niche sets like Xanmeer Spellweaver useful, and there are other similar sets in the game, such as Blooddrinker.

I think we should remain open-minded; after all, the New Death Knight set shows that single-attribute damage can actually be beneficial for classes.

Absolutely no to buffing charm. It is a scourge in PvP, it causes your player to drip block.
