its impossible for a templar to survive in a large battle, 95% of the time "rushed ceremony" targets other players instead of healing us.
"use healing ritual" no, we die/get interrupted before the cast(2 seconds) is finnished.

Play a melee sorcerer/Nightblade and then go complain that your Templar has no survival.

sorcerer has bolt escape, and nightblade has invisibility.
what a about templar? no escapes, no CC and no high defenses.
we NEED to heal all the time.

Use Illustrious Healing, Repentance, or go into Ritual of Rebirth for a (slightly) faster cast time and time your casts appropriately.

It will help when they add the interrupt timer as well.

    Here's a hint:

If you bolt escape you can't melee, and melee is how you heal as melee sorc.

Melee sorcerers unlike templar and DK don't have a magic button you press to restore large amounts of health. You only heal via critical strikes in melee.

Yup it is pathetic that i end up saving others and go down myself because of this "smart healing".

The worse choice i ever made in a MMO was to pick templar instead of DK , should have know better.

It's not a self-heal, it's just a heal. Stop trying to get templars nerfed.

    Yeah .... what you call a nerf , i call a buff.

It should be given an option , the way it is now , it is a waste. The "smart healing" is dumber than a door. The templar may not want to heal others, or might want to heal only people in their party ... but ofc , that did not occur to the devs.

If any other player is there and hurt , you obviously want to heal them, instead of anyone else.

thats my point, we SHOULD be able to restore health, but we are not since our heals go to other targets.

illustrious healing? everyone can use that, then we have no advantage in large pvp.
sorc can bolt escape to stay alive, DK has defenses and AOE CC, nightblades can use invisibility, what about templars?
