Crown store in-game popup

Good afternoon beautiful people.

Not sure if this is a bug or a 'me' problem, so I thought I'd ask to start 'splitting two ways'.

Today I am getting the in-game popup for the crown store every single time I log in a new character or change zones. This has happened on three separate accounts so far.

Is anyone else observing this behaviour? Is starting to be a little bit grating.

I was just going to make a post about it.

Every time I change character or go to a new zone I get that popup. It's super annoying.

I have tried clicking on everything in that window to make it stop, but nothing has helped.

@ZOS_Kevin I have asked around a bit, this seems to be 'an issue' rather than a 'me issue'.

Any chance you may be able to pass it to the team to look into please?

It does get frustrating after a while.

I have also been randomly getting this pop up, doesn’t happen in every zone and seems to occur at random times in the day. PSNA here.

All I did was buy 5x loose crown crates until my crowns ran out. Maybe it's caused by having low crowns?

I don't have low crowns and it's happening to me. It's been an intermittent problem for years. Maybe with the recent shake up with Microsoft have them pushing the CS a bit harder.

I've noticed this happening a lot lately as well.

It's nothing to do with how many crowns you have, or how recently you spent some, I assume it's either a bug with the menu or someone deliberately changed it to make it more noticable.

Been seeing this for weeks, also driving me crazy!

Not buying crowns on the chance it migh stop either.

Just to clarify it's the large advertising pop-up I am seeing!

same prob ,happens maybe X10 times when log in and out for daily ,then disappears for some toons and comes back

I've only seen it when logging on a different character, but it doesn't do it on every character. Sometimes it only does it once but other times it does it on 2 characters in a row. I've never seen it from just changing zones.

I think I am talking about a more serious issue not just the occasional "announcement" pop-up but the straight up spamming of the pop-up every 3rd loading screen or so. For me it is 100% with all my characters. But when it pops up varies.

Most of the time it pops up just when I log in with a new character. But if it doesn't it always pops up within the first two times I re-zone. It's highly annoying.

Can we get some help with this @ZOS_Kevin?

I think this nonsense has been annoying me since Black Friday (end of November 2025).
There were many events, and I think ZOS set it up this way on purpose.

ZOS really wants to squeeze even more crowns out of our pockets.

Ok it's back.

Left the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary. Crown store pop up!

Took the wayshrine to Grahtwood 10 minutes later. Crown store pop up!

Switched to my crafter 30 minutes later. Crown store pop up!

I'm gonna request a refund for those crowns..

It's happening more often to me than usual, but not every time I rezone. It used to just pop up when there's something new in the crown store (eg, new login reward, or new selection of items), but recently it's been a bit more often than that. I hope it's a bug, because there's no need to remind us of the crown store when there's nothing new.

It might be worth posting which platform and server you're on.

I play on PC-NA and PC-EU and the Crown Store only opens itself on login or if I hit the button to make it open. What you're experiencing is most definitely a bug and not by design.

I'm on PC EU and luckily it doesn't happen too often for me, but sometimes it does pop up after travelling between zones now. Still strange as that never happened before until recently (I'm playing ESO for 10 years now and formerly the pop up only showed once after logging in).
