Neither did I. It seems too often people make polls not to gain insight, but to try to use players as a confirmation bias. There was no appropriate option here for me to vote on, because none of these correctly apply– hence why I can only assume it was for a joke, or to try to manipulate some point.

I think I died twice but there was no recap until post launch, on my journey to veteran rank 10, at most, on the first server wipes during beta that included vet zones. At least in pve. Cyrodiil was another matter, but I loved it win or lose.

Well that explains the motive.

Can't imagine how people's HP in a videogame reaching 0 is so rattling to you that you feel you gotta make a post like this just to compare how good you feel you are at the game. Especially in a game as limited as ESO.
Gitgudology has a weird dynamic in ESO because of how limited the game is, there's really not a whole lot to measure in this game. And then you gotta consider the fact that you have people in their 70s and 80s playing these games too, and people with disabilities, etc.
I can imagine some folks responses to the poll would even be "I know it too well

" because they are focused on having fun in a videogame rather than worrying about degrading others.

And people keep telling me the community is not getting worse/more toxic...

Actually I'm not going to report it, too much toxic evidence gets removed before people see it, and I'm tired of people pretending it's not there when it's just deleted to hide it.

Can't say that the sadface really works for that. I know the death recap screen pretty well and it's usually accompanied by "well that didn't go as planned" instead.
