Anybody know what this mean? " you can earn Mara’s Piquant Parcels in your in-game mail for completing event Achievements using the Amulet of the Heart.

    It's an item you should get for completing the new event story quests. On PTS, it had been bugged for a while. I hope this bug hasn't carried over to the Live server, just like some other bugs did when East Solstice was released.

    I have the amulet in my tools now; but it seems to be quite useless. First what is classified as an event achievement? then how do you know when to use the amulet?

    There's an achievement list about things you're supposed to do with it:

    I think you just need to doubleclick that item at those locations.

    I think the "piquant parcels" were renamed to something else since "piquant" didn't really make sense for Mara. Originally, they were even called "Sanguine's piquant parcels" on PTS, and their flavor text called Sanguine "the daedra prince of love"... :/

    Nope, just those parcels in the post. Opened and post deleted before I saw your reply, but I think they were Mara's Piquant Parcels.

    I have completed the story quest on both the EU & Na server and was told I had the Amulet of the Heart momento. When I look in my momentos it is not there.
    How how I complete my achievements?
    So yes it looks like the bug from the PTS is in the live game.

    The amulet can be found under Collections -> Tools.

    Once you get the momento you just use it twice anywhere you are and it checks off that quest. Gotta complete all the quests to get the momento.

    They say it has an effect on different people, but I only notice myself doing a confused sort of animation.

    I didn't notice any special effects or animations either. At an achievement location or not, with companion out or not, no matter which companion - it just glows, always the same animation.

    I should be used to that by now. I constantly have to rewrite in my head how my character asks questions about very obvious things.

    I guess I was very lucky! At the end of the quest line Tony the Tiger picked up my character and hugged him in a huge hug cutscene that lasted a few seconds. Zerith-var was standing nearby and got quite jealous, but he’s classy enough not to show it. It was a grrreeEEAATTT experience! 🐯

    FYI, if you are on your mount when you talk to him for the hug, the animation won’t happen.

    After playing around a bit, I finally saw something (besides the glow on the amulet itself when "using" it) on my Nightblade - very faint gold sparkles spreading out in a very diffuse cloud. Honestly somewhat underwhelming. If I hadn't been standing in front of a dark background, I might well not have seen them at all.

    He doesn't like to hug people who block other players' view.
