You'll be able to buy an extra button in the next expansion for $200! In fact, that will be the entire expansion. :D
    (ZOS, this is a joke).

That's why we have 16 more buttons on a Naga mouse. ;)

10 active skills is fine imho, but I wouldn’t say no to 1 passive slot per bar - ability that you never use but slot for passive effects, like Magelight or Revealing Flare.

It will never happen, but tbh I wouldn't mind another button or 2. I feel like having 12 slots (non ulti) vs 10 wouldn't exactly break anything fundamental. And nowadays we have so many options, you can play single bar and perform well, so in that sense I also don't see an issue. Comparisons with WoW or whatever are silly, we're comparing 30+ buttons to 12, 3-4 full 12 button hotbars, to 2x6 bars. Not even close, obviously.

But, I highly doubt anything like that would ever happen. It would change too much from a balancing perspective, require too much work from ZoS' side, and the benefit is unclear. Most players probably don't want this and wouldn't be willing to get used to such a change.

I'm a 6'5" construction worker, I have the opposite problem

besides, when I play first/third person KB&M games I use the extra buttons on my gaming mouse for movement, so the keyboard is just for skills/abilities

Not to disagree/invalidate your experiences but you don't need extra limbs haha. If you have big hands and/or long fingers, it's not hard at all. Takes a little stretching or twisting but I can reach the 9 key with my index finger while keeping my ring finger on the A key. With a bit of minor twisting, I can throw my thumb up to hit the 0, - and = keys, or I can switch my little finger to the A key and use my index finger to push those three. That said, accuracy becomes an issue the further I have to get away from WASD, so that's another reason why I prefer the limited abilities in ESO.
