Maybe if events weren't built with an expectation to participate every day, long events wouldn't feel so tiring. A separation of tickets (soon trade bars) from the event objectives would help. imo events should always be at least 1.5-2 weeks...if the event is not "worth" it over 10-14 days its probably not worth having it in the first place....

On the other hand it is normal for zone events or undaunted and such where an actual gameplay is present( eg: dungeons, trials,..) to be longer as there are things like grinding that are present.
