With respeccing being allowed in the UI, anywhere... What is happening to the Armory assistant?

Being a console player, I used the Armory system to do what PC players were doing with Wizard's Wardrobe. Now that we have the ability to respec in the field at will, and add-ons on all platforms, what is the point of the Armory assistant? What can it do that Wizard's Wardrobe can't?

I would like some kind of recompense or *something* due to the essential obsolescence of the Armory system. The only thing that the Armory could be useful for would be swapping or removing Vampire / Werewolf at will, unless Subclassing is still only allowed at respec shrines.

CP still won't be free so there's still that. It saves mundus too. Tbh it never really did anything that couldn't be done anyway, tho with a bit more effort and expense involved. It'll still be a good timesaver and save me having to remember every change - always used to forget something before the armory!

The Armory will still save the following:

Quickslot wheel
Mundus Stone Buff
Champion Point setup (including non-slottable stars)
Curses

Incorrect. Not in leaderboard content outside of IA (which is leaderboard content). Instanced content you absolutely can. The worry was primarily for veteran end game trials and score pushing, which is where they disabled it.

what is different about an weekly leaderboard run of HRC and just a run of HRC ????? whats the difference between leaderboard run of MSA and just in farming weapons ???? both these are instanced activities right so if i cant use my UI respec in my farming of weapons in MSA , IDC about leaderboards/ dying/using power buffs,/moving fast.. i well NOT be able to use in my farming run tho its not an leaderboard run so YES THEY ARE LOCKED OUT OF INSTANCES not just leaderboards

i personal think ESO DEV TEAM should bite this problem right in the a** by putting in an leaderboard trigger for switching gear/skills after entering the start of the run any group member that switches gear/skills is treated as an death and points are taken away ...... 12 players 12 builds not 12 players 50 builds switched in an out based on area type of said run... ( EDITED SO AS AN JOKE DOESN'T GET ME INTO TROUBLE ) UNATTENDED AT DESIGN REASON ADD-ON IS NEEDED

being real this would stop all the RESTRICTIONS on regular players that are just learning and REALLY have a NEED to use this type of CHANGE IN GEAR OR SKILLS and it also RESTRICTS them using it to EXPLOIT leaderboard runs , EVERYDAY NORMAL PLAYERS SHOULDN'T BE WHO THEY PLACE THEIR RESTICTIONS ON , IT SHOULD BE THEM EXPLOITING THE SYSTEMS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They need to save scribing setups with the assistant, that's my biggest pain point.

"Leaderboard content" is not just "leaderboard runs." Leaderboard runs are a small subset of runs of leaderboard content defined by the intention to get a high score. Since the game awards you a score for completing this content, regardless of your intentions, it doesn't differentiate leaderboard runs from runs of leaderboard content done for other purposes. "Instanced content" is a much broader category and actually includes most areas of the game - but respecs won't be restricted in all (or even most) of those places. If you want to say the new respecs are "locked out of instances," you must also append "but only those instances that award a score that could appear on leaderboards" - at which point you've just defined "leaderboard content."

In practical terms, nothing is changing about access to respecs within the instance once the timer has started on vet trial or arena runs. You'll continue to be able to change gear, CP, and slotted skills at will during the run (manually or via add-on). You'll continue not to be able to change base skills, skill morphs, subclass lines, mundus, curse, scripts, or attributes.

so leaderboards is an subset to instanced context base off player interested and players who have 0 interest ( the majority of players ) have to 1 ) manually, 2) use ADD-ON ( PC RESTRICTED AND BORDERLINE ALREADY USED TO EXPLOIT THE LEADERBOARD SYSTEM ) all to keep from having it EXPLOITED , when the REAL RESTRICTIONS need to be put at the SOURCE OF what makes something EXPLOITABLE and here its changing your build at will ( ADD-ON FOR PC ALREADY IN PLACE THAT DOES JUST THAT ) and easy to FIGHT with an points deduction for change to an build after start of run with an simple trigger and 0 RESTRICTION for the everyday player trying to get better by learning and changing their build

U cant save subclass in WW, I use the armory for that purpose
