I'm stuck in Hero's Return and can't leave HELP

So I accidentally clicked the "enter Hero's Return" on joining PTS and didn't want to be there. I thought I'd just finish it quickly so I accepted the quest and ran to the first platform. An enemy spawned and I realized I didn't have DPS build setup for this so I just jumped off the side thinking it would let me leave when I respawned. No exit visible so I logged out. I logged back in still in the Hero's Return area so I made a quick DPS gear and build from the boxes and ran to the first platform again. The Enemy is gone and the Mage just stands there on the pillar not doing anything. I can't seem to teleport out in any way, can't go to a house or wayshrine on the map (says "You cannot recall from this location" in red text).

How the heck do I get out of here?

If you haven't already, I would submit a /bug report in-game with all the info provided above. Hopefully that doesn't happen to others.

Ok so I logged out for 15 mins-ish and came back in and was not in there anymore. Whew!

Having the same problem right now and yours is the only relevant post I found. I'm on PTS and really don't want to do this right now.

Seriously the only way to leave is to log out for 15 mins? Can't even queue for IC/Cyro which works for most other such situations.

ZOS please add an exit.

Hero's Return is a group dungeon, so you can escape it from the group menu.
There is no way for a beginner to know this information.

Thank you! Especially beginners yes. But there's also nothing indicating this for anyone, beginner or not! I've been here since Beta but I don't do dungeons that much lately – I definitely don't remember the specifics of leaving them via UI. Dungeons even have multiple ways to port out – to wayshrine, a house, physical exit, etc.
