Hello!
With the addition of the Night Market, a sub-zone of Fargrave accessible via portal, I believe it's no better time than now to once more ask about the Plaza of Portals in Fargrave. Fargrave was written as this city where the boundaries of Oblivion & Mundus grow thin, where traveling between realms is much easier. And yet, in the Plaza of Portals we have...3 Portals. Two go to the Deadlands, and One goes to Leyawiin. And there's a navigator npc which sends you to the basegame alliance capitals.
So much for
"The Plaza of Portals leads everywhere"
My suggestion/request is to add more portals to this barren plaza, make Fargrave truly feel like a nexus of realms.
- A portal for each Oblivion zone (Apocrypha, Coldharbour) as well as a secondary portal entrance to the Night Market here. Perhaps even a portal directly to the Infinite Archive as well.
- For Eyevea & Artaeum, we could perchance have a Psijic NPC to serve as a navigator NPC to these zones as well, keeping a lore friendly touch on traveling to them.
- For the Clockwork City we could have a Nocturnal pool of shadow, much like some portal entrances to delves in the Clockwork City itself!
- A navigator NPC for the capital cities of Chapter and/or DLC Zones.
- Cosmetically, maybe unusable/decorational rifts/portals/etc could be placed hovering around the plaza, just for an extra touch of otherwordlyness
The reason I suggest navigation NPCs instead of portals for a lot of these is simply to save on space for future Realm zones as well.
I hope these suggestions are welcome, as I would love to see the Plaza of Portals truly be
A Plaza of Portals
