Extremely long loading screens

As the title says, these past couple of days has been riddled by eternal loading screens and LAG, as well as connection issues, and it's NOT in Cyrodiil/IC. My internet connection is perfectly fine and stable, ESO is the only program struggling right now. My loading screens are going on forever, anyone else encountered this??

Just to add, this is happening in regular zones, dungeons and trials, no matter where I am

delete shade cache cooked in documents, close the game down, shut the computer down (really with shift) unplug it for 5 minutes, try again...

often restarting the game completely with some pause already helps with that

What do you call "extremely long? A load screen of 30 sec is typical, sometimes can be two minutes for many of us int he guild.

My load screens are usually no more than 15 seconds max, but now they can suddenly be up to 3-4 minutes. Yesterday I was porting in to a trial and had to shut down the game because the screen never ended.

Ive taken to calling it load screen prog. Been dealing with this since i first started playing.

Sometimes it seems like the game just derps out and perma load screens. I usually have to force close. Not super common thankfully.

What i would also check is if your router has a certain set priority for certain apps and bandwidth and if eso is allowed to go through the windows firewall and if you are executing as administrator...
Also delete shader cache cooked from time to time...
And make sure in the hardware manager that everything network related such as the wifi is not allowed to go into sleep mode.

I've been finding very long load screens on character selection. So long that yesterday I went to put the kettle on and when I got back I was still loading. This has been happening for a couple of weeks now as well as long load times travelling (can be via wayshrine, travel to player and travel to/from house) sometimes leading to being kicked from the game.

Are there any addons that could be causing this? Long loading screens can be caused by excessive data loading being required. If this is a new problem on console perhaps it's related to the introduction of addons.

It's happening in imperial city in particular. The transition from sewers to upper city it's unusually long and most of the times I have to try 2 or 3 times in order to go from sewers to upper city because the game says "you are already queued for that campaign" . When it works, it's way longer than usual

I play on PC-EU and are using the same addons I've always used, yet it's a new issue happening this past week.
I've tried all the advices listed above, like deleting shader cache, enabling firewall permission, bandwidth, etc. I just gotta assume it's due to higher load on servers due to Mayhem event

Also try to really shut down the pc (hold shift while clicking shutdown), the unplug it completely for 10 mins, that resets a lot of things incl. Wifi adapter.

I've been having weird sound delays since the last patch. I had this problem before, and they did something during their backend maintenance that fixed it. It's been fine for months, but now it's back it seems.
