Thought this would be about getting horses that actually look like horses. Not weird medieval painting of ponies with bad proportions.

They have dog legs. That's the whole problem. It's actually the body shape of a dog, not a horse.

Aye. It's very noticeable on the "slim" horse model when you run. It runs like a dog.

Also, the speed bump at Vivec's docks is both hilarious and absurd

I hit that bump all the time. I literally going flying for a second for an one inch bump was funny for the first couple times, now it a huge annoyance now.

Me too. How many times has this been raised, and still all the horses' hocks are deformed?

Yeah. Horse's base model needs to be fixed!
As someone who has not just seen, but ridden horses many times, I can confidently say that whatever we have in ESO aren't horses.

These things were designed by someone who had never seen a real horse and was too lazy to look up how real horses look. And I don't mean colour. I mean bones, muscles and movement.

This is a very common problem in games, although ESO is an especially bad example. I do use the horse mounts but I have to ignore all the weirdness in how they stand and move, and things like them constantly having their mouths open.

The "good" news is because it's such a common problem if they ever do want to fix it there's a consultant they can contact who 100% genuinely does this as her actual job (alongside other kinds of game dev work) and a bunch of resources they can use themselves: https://www.themanequest.com/consulting

You were able to run smoothly back in the day. No stopping, no slowing down, no stuttering - on mounts and on foot. Now when sprinting down a small step, you slow down, take a second or two to gather yourself and only then get back up to speed. One of the worst changes to the game...

Honestly I have noticed my characters getting stuck just running through a town, or anywhere really.
It seems to happen every 10 feet now and its pretty annoying
It never used to be this bad. I dont know why mounts and characters seem to stub their toe on every pebble now
