If we do massive scale "Fixed match" in PVP zone, then what will happen?

Just my imaginary experiment, so don't be serious. But...if...

For example, there're big member guild (200 member) . They plan something intrigue.
Separate 2 team like Dagger and Pact. And keep taking castle or keep each other as "Fixed match".
Then, it'll be nice green gold farmer? And, it'll be exploit behavior?

I've been thinking this theory as something flaw of the game design.

Honestly say, some mode of Cyrodiil already became quite empty population recently.
(Or, most of PVP contents of ESO just like that.)
It's almost Skyrim in Cyrodiil. I could do smooth skyshard farming actually. Because I met only 2 other
player during skyshard farming through my activity.

One day (maybe 1 years ago?), 5 people including me keep taking castle effortlessly.
Because, there're no other players in Cyrodiil (LoL).

So I f we do "Fixed match" in unpopular mode in Cyrodiil, I think no body notice it.

There was a wave of permabans issued a few years ago for this type of exploit. Might want to factor that into your "experiment."

In the evenings, you have to wait a long time for Gray Host; PC-EU is definitely not empty.

Gray Host is popular mode, so it's not empty.

But I still see weird situation in PVP zone, especially in Imperial City. Suddenly, all district become
united one color, but 1 hours later, suddenly other team color start to dominate all district.

I felt something intrigue by the guild or massive friend team. Start from blue, then red, then yellow.
I think...they might change their team intermittently for farming. Technically, we can communicate
each other by the discord or something even in separated team.

It wouldn't take some grand conspiracy to flip the flags in Imperial city, provided they aren't contested by other players one person can capture all the flags one after the other, if no one is around to flip them back, they can then log into another character of a different alliance do it again, there just isn't enough of a pay off to make it worthwhile.

There's no conspiracy with that situation.

If a PvP guild goes to IC, they can take all the quests and go round the circuit capturing all the flags as they go, killing bosses and enemies until everyone has done their quests. Then head into the sewers, turn in quests and maybe kill the sewer bosses, and queue into Cyrodiil to do quests there. I've done that with my guild and with random alliance groupings. All the PvPers I know prefer Cyro for PvP, so I don't see the point of guilds switching alliances just to farm in IC.

After the flags are turned by one group, it's only a matter of time before either an enemy guild or group of randoms comes around and flips the flags back. Players aren't going to stay and defend all night, especially in IC. If it's quiet you're better off in Cyrodiil. Even in Cyro you can spend hours taking most of the map quite easily, then another alliance comes online and they start challenging hard and pushing you back over the map.

Yea, I have that experience. It felt like kind of daily mandatory, rather than enjoy the contents.
But...ZOS is still clinging "meta" game design. So it's a one of solution for ESO style PVP hater.
Maybe I can't enjoy ESO PVP forever.

Technically you can get away with it if it doesn't get reported or otherwise discovered. Doesn't change the fact that it's against TOS, it has resulted in warnings/bans in the past, and you will run the risk of being warned/banned if you were to do this yourself.

"Those other guys did it and they didn't get in trouble" is not an argument that ZOS support will care about.

I'm pretty sure they changed it to where the amount of AP you get is tied to things like when the keep was last flipped, how long it takes to flip it, how much resistance you faced, and other similar things. At best, it would be a very inefficient way of farming gold, as there aren't many good ways of converting AP to gold. And even if there was an item you could buy for AP and sell for a lot of gold, now you have 200 people doing it, and they will drive the price even further down. It's high risk, low reward, as it's an inefficient way of making gold that also opens you up to the possibility of getting banned. Don't know how many players would think that that is a good deal.
