Why no Impressario in Cyrodiil or Imperial City?

As Whitestrake's just started, a long-time flaw is still not addressed: We have no Event Impressario in Cyrodiil or Imperial City. In a PVP event, no less.

So whenever you need to purchase something (see: 12/12 event tickets and you can't have more), you have to port out to PVE land. Getting back into Cyro/IC will take a long queue time. So yeah, we could check, if we are at ticket cap before. But there could also be the convenient and logical choice to place the Impressario in actual PVP territory in a PVP event. That's all.

That's last pvp event with event tickets... It will be another currency after big update, without cap.

My PvP characters don’t stay in Cyrodiil, they queue up every day.

Personal assistants don’t go there, so I don’t think an Impresario should either. There are probably performance reasons as to why.

because she's never been there before and it makes no sense for her to be there.

personally, i have designated toons i leave in ic and cyro for the duration of the event. keeps me from having to queue because when you log onto the character you just port right in and keeps me from having to run back to the quest area in cyro. i usually check the ticket number as i'm logging off of the last one getting tickets and i'll spend on whatever toon i'm doing endeavors on that day. but if for some reason i forget to check and go to turn in a quest and find i'm capped... i simply log onto a character that is not in ic/cyro, spend tickets and hop back on the one to turn the quest in

I understand that it is more of a hypothetical question, now that tickets (and the Impressaria?) will be a thing of the past soon.

But the other arguments are not convincing.

Why does it not make sense for her being in Cyro? We have the Predicant there, we have multiple vendors in Cyro, we have the weekly Golden Vendor, we have bankers and inn keeps, quest givers...

Keeping a character in Cyro does not work when there is a queue. On relog, they will automatically spawn in their last PVE location, when Cyro is full. So that argument does not stand either.

Anyway, bit of a moot discussion maybe.

the impressario will not be a thing of the past.

The only change she gets is, her items will cost Trade Bars instead of Event Tickets.
100 trade bars for 1 event ticket, so the current pet fragments will cost 1000 Bars.

i've been doing this for several years. never had my character kicked. i leave them there for the entire duration of the event. but i also never get these ginormous queues that everyone else complains about. i'm guessing it's because i'm going into the non-cp areas. but if you are just doing this for tickets, then there's no reason to put yourself through all that simply for going into the cp version.
