Well played, ZOS.💸 💸
(I bought it too a while back as well)
After 1.5k hours of gameplay I accidentally discovered that we can unlock all hair styles and all adornments, including accessories and facial hair/horns, for a mere 2k crowns! I've spent so much time deciding my character's hairstyles etc, then considering appearance change tokens just to tweak with my hair or beard etc... and then I find out I can unlock everything forever! Wow. This opens up so many possibilities in terms of customization, such as changing your trim. All of this stuff is not worth buying appearance change tokens and is a big QoL improvement!
How come nobody ever mentions this? No guide, no forum topic I've read, nothing! Is it in fear of the price rising? It's the most important upgrade in the game imo

Not all, some hair styles and adornments are race locked in character creator.
I think most players either don't know about it or assume everyone who cares knows about it. I know I've mentioned it a few times on this forum, but only when it's relevant to the discussion.
I really like it though. In most games I don't bother changing my character's hair at all because it's not worth the price and/or hassle of doing it (which often involves going to a specific NPC or buying an consumable item) but in this game I'll do things like put a long haired character's hair into a pony tail when going into a delve and let it down once they're out, then put it into a fancier style when they're in town selling their loot because once you've bought the unlock pack it's just a few clicks to change it.
I got the accessory pack too and I don't use it as often but I still find it useful when I want to dress my characters up to look a bit different to usual. The only reason I haven't bought the markings pack is because I normally use scars or tattoos for my characters and I'd find it weird to keep changing them.scorpius2k1 wrote: »All of those hairstyles are included for free in the character selection screen initially, but require an additional microtransaction fee to re-gain access to exact same cosmetics from collections after making new character.

That surprised me. The khajiit and argonian styles are entirely seperate (even when using the unlock pack) but I didn't realise each human or elven race only gets a sub-set of the total selection to choose from at character creation.

@Techwolf_Lupindo The thread is talking about these cosmetic packs:Techwolf_Lupindo wrote: »I am lost here. I look in the crown store and can't find anything relating to a one time purshise of changing character looks.
