I love helping out new players trying to do their quests in dungeons for their first time...but it's frustrating when players that are in a rush speed towards bosses and leave the poor new player behind in the dust. I would like to see some changes please to improve the initial experience for newer players starting out in dungeons. Some have had such scary experiences they never went back to doing dungeons.

My idea would be to have storytime dungeons that go at a slower pace..perhaps there would be a waiting time phase between each boss and also first boss takes a bit longer to activate so as to give extra time for the quester to pick up quest and listen to the dialogue.

Another change that would improve dungeon experience for many players is to separate dlc dungeons from the random normal daily dungeons. My idea is to have a daily random non dlc dungeons option that rewards 10 transmute crysrals and then a separate random dungeons daily option that is for dlc dungeons only and rewards 20 transmute crystals.
My reason for this is that so many players are in a rush to get their daily dungeon done for xp or crystals that they want an easy fast dungeon and dlc dungeons are not that. By separating the non dlc from the dlc dungeons im hoping it will encourage those that want to do dlc dungeons to not try to speed run them so much cos it will be theur choice to do a dlc one.

Thank you kindly if you read this

I think story mode solo dungeons are the first step in resolving this issue. Separating DLC and non DLC could help, but speedrunning would still be rampant (that said, I don’t like doing nonDLC so a DLC queue would be beneficial for me).

I think there’s two other things ZOS should do that would help:
1 - Improve the guild finder so people can find dungeon guilds easier, thus letting people find others that match their playstyle (this also helps with progression since people can discuss how to play & how to build)
2 - Improve transmute sourcing so that spamming random normal isn’t the second best source of transmute. Add transmute rewards to trials, fix the DLC pledge transmute, etc.

I dislike speed runners in my groups to but i also hate the idea of story mode especially when you are asking for awards that are more than already gave while being on the same Q ,, id like to see them add an story mode thats part of an different Q with 0 extra awards , if this really about getting to experience NEW DUNGEON for the 1st time or wanting to be helpful to new players having its own separate Q and the award being getting to run with like minded players looking to do dungeon for the 1st time or helping new players and being helpful should be enough right ??? .... Q times on the system we already have is bad adding an whole new Q would harm that even more

But id think the better choice would be on the new player to use group finder make an group listing specify its an 1st run questing and wait for like minded player to join their group then Q as an group for awards , i get it thats an little to much work to get what you want lol
