I'm sure this sounds nitpicky but I don't care for the aesthetic of Apocrypha and that's honestly a reason I don't play it. Maybe I'm alone on this. Would love if y'all would consider other wings in other aesthetics like Breton or Khajiit or Imperial. Keep the creepy tentacle portals, keep the whiny floating books, keep the crystal monster thing that you fight after four regular bosses. Just add another portal at the hub to a different wing and once I choose a wing lock me into it for that session. I just want some different backgrounds to look at while wandering around holding left mouse down. Maybe I'm way out on my own on this, thumbs up if you agree.

I'd be fine with different style wings as long as an archive feel stays intact.

Yea id love to see more wings added along with the possibility for 3 or 4 person groups, a checkpoint, more earnable rewards, and better class sets that are actually exciting! :)

I don't care for the look of this apocrypha either. While a lot of it is cool, it feels too alive, which is a strange thing for me to say about anything in ESO. But it doesn't feel like this dark and secret realm of secluded knowledge and alien keepers like it did in Skyrim. There's a big mortal bookclub village in the middle of it with lots of nondaedra to be seen. And even then, a lot of the daedra as you say are very much characters rather than unsettling. And on top of that, there are a lot of other replications of life, like plants, which makes it feel like it's a familiar place being catered to mortals.

    Basically, it feels too accessible.
Now what I liked about traversing apocrypha in Skyrim is when it feels like you're in a place you're not supposed to be, yet are drawn in, with access to all sorts of forgotten and horded powers to almost tantilize you into staying there at a great risk, under an ever watching daedric prince who has no true regard for you. It felt like a place for only the most daring, competent, or foolish to enter in order to satisfy their own desires. And that is what I pretend the IA is by the minimally consequential loot/rewards it provides. In fact, it felt most fun when that was my access to find class script scraps. Or when Tho'at was supposed to be representing a plot device for Ithelia.

I think if they are to add more wings, it should be in a way that's more sinister and perilous, as well as rewarding. Not more catering to mortal comfort. Herma Mora already has us doing his chores for him and gives us the temporary boons to do so with a big tentacle thumbs up. Trying to make his realm/invaded library more easygoing just as an incentive to make his maid want to be there feels unbefitting of a daedric prince.

I would love to have wings where we do feel like if we were in apocrypha. Maybe other oblivion realms or actual places from the world.

Perhaps a way to do so would be finding a way to "enter the books" that take place in different settings.

There are stacks of book shelves for every major race, should be easy enough. In this proposal, it'd be a player choice so if you want to keep the classic stages then just use that portal. I'm looking for ways for players to get more variety without a ton of effort from ZOS since I expect like every other studio they're stretched pretty thin these days.

It would be better to focus on new content and a less contentious format.

I know so many players who just despise IA. There is so much gated behind so little actual content, it is a legit reason to quit eso. I'm not even exaggerating. It's the kind of thing I observe players doing immediately before they quit eso. There is so much wrong with how it is designed. I honestly can't imagine why anyone would want it to be expanded upon.

It is pure pain for me to play. So tedious and so uninteresting to look at. At least give us a vet version! gah.

i'd rather they changed the archive's feel, it just has the 2 hallways and a boss feel that any generic mmo dungeon has. they should shake things up on the normal routes instead of forcing you into special portals for anything different. Or maybe more incentive to clear the trash rooms like having them drop loot like normal (why is muniment chest the only rewards, and kind of small in rewards especially as it takes longer to clear each stage as you progress?)

it would be nice if we got environments from the areas we see in the index orb
Summerset, Galen, Western Skyrim, unsure which others.

could be mixed with Apocrypha assets like the pipes and creatures to keep it clear that it is in the infinite Archive.

for content like the archive i agree there should be a wider range of arenas to fight in since your going through so many and so long

i personally like IA, enough so ive already obtained every collectible from there and still run it (not as much as say when new gear or achievements are added but still regularly enough to have hundreds of thousands of fortunes piled up lol)

it is vet once you get to arc 4, i would not be opposed for them to add something to let you start at a later arc, but you forgo any vision choices and drops up to where you start, so starting in arc 4 versus actually progressing from arc 1 to 4 would be much more challenging, but if you just wanted more difficult fights thats a way to do it along with still getting to where you get better fortune rewards
    plays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

That would be cool. The one with the fire damage also need to stop after the stage is completed. Makes it a pain when you're knocked out choosing your verse because of it. Happens too often.

i agree i would like to see less depressing environments. Apocrypha, Deadlands and Coldharbour are areas that I can only play in small doses, I understand those areas want you to make you feel oppressed, but i cant do IA for long because the environment is so dark and creepy.
I would welcome to slaughter my enemies on a more cheerful stage.
Would be nice to have all zones sprinkled in a bit

Wings should always have been a mix of other world locations and a library.
