Vengeance Is Coming
Permanently, and “sometime” this year, per the first post here:

The last section of the post summarizes their two choices, both of which involve Vengeance. Their question is whether to keep Gray Host. The other campaigns will depend on how many people play them.

But yes, Vengeance Is Coming. Unfortunately.
pop lock GH = same number of players as 2 bars Vengeance

pop lock GH = same number of players as 2 bars Vengeance
pop lock GH = same number of players as 2 bars Vengeance
You don't know that. ZOS has never released any data from anything other than their first iteration of vengeance when they ran a golden pursuit at the same time to artificially increase participation.
And even using your figures GH still had double the population vengeance ever had. Additionally, performance during the last instance of vengeance was very similar to performance in GH.
Vengeance is a lose lose proposition. And it means ZOS is wasting dev time and resources on vengeance instead of working on GH when GH is by far more popular. ZOS continuing to invest in vengeance will cause the population to continue to decline.
The only thing that can save this situation is for ZOS to do what they've always said they were doing "They're working on it", meaning working on GH, not vengeance.
GH players are also okay with the server being dead 20 hours a day.DestroyerPewnack wrote: »...I think I'm okay with that. 🤔

If that's what it takes to move on from the failed GH model, so be it. They'll scrap Vengeance and move onto a third model, not go back to what has obviously failed.Artisian0001 wrote: »Vengeance players are okay with the server being dead 24 hours a day.

Correct. The devs shifting their resources to an entirely new PvP mode is what means GH failed. Just because you don't like the new PvP mode doesn't mean GH isn't a dead failure.Artisian0001 wrote: »Just because you don't like it doesn't make it failed
