ESO+ & Tamriel Tome/Seasons - Clarification Needed

ESO+ will give 1 Premium Tome Token for each month subscribed.
-- This Premium Tome Token can be used to unlock the $15 Premium Tamriel Tome, correct?

To unlock the 12-month Premium+Bonus Token, do you:
-- simply have been subscribed for 12 months?
-- exchange 12 Premium Tome Tokens to get the Premium+Bonus Token?

To permentantly unlock a Season/Tome for your account, you need only purchase either the Premium ($15) Tome upgrade OR the Premium+Bonus ($30) Tome upgrade.
-- And you don't have to pay this upgrade cost for each month of a 3-month Season; it's a one-time purchase to get access to the whole Season/Tome, correct?

Based on my understanding of what has been said.

    1. No, the tome tokens can only be spent on unlocking the premium tome.
    2. That's basically the idea yeah, sub for 12 months to accumulate 12 tokens, drop them on a premium tome you like when you see it.
    3. One time payment yeah.

Some questions that I would add are.

    1. Are tomes money only, or can they be bought with crowns?
    2. Given that purchased tomes become permanent and there seems to be a way to switch between owned tomes, are we also able to purchase past tomes? As an example, when season 1 releases, will people be able to go back and buy the season 0 tome?
    3. As a followup, can the free premium tome from being subbed to eso+ for 12 months be used to get the premium version of a past tome, or do you have to wait for a current tome that you like to cycle in?

I guess I don't understand why they would bother to give us an item Token each month, if they're only used to save twelve of them to use on a Premium+Bonus Token. And why call it a Premium Tome Token - when the first upgrade tier is call Premium - and not Premium+Bonus Tome Token Fragment or something?

    1. Or with Premium Tome Tokens?
    2. I wondered this as well. Maybe they'll move older Tome Season items to the Bazaar? But then what would be the point of saving a Tome in the first place?
    3. The way I understood it, Tomes are not going to 'cycle' like items on the Crown Store do. They're themed earnable rewards available for that 3-month or so Season duration. Unless you upgrade, and then it's permanent.

They somehow made ESO monetization even more confusing.
