As the article noted, it is a 100% boost to XP as long as you participate in Cyrodiil, the Imperial City, and Battlegrounds. That is the only restriction.

In the past we earned event boxes for RftW mails, this article doesn't mention that. Oversight or change to the event?

Believe that was an Oversight. However, I will be able to confirm on Tuesday Morning when we are back in the office. (Note for non-US folks: Monday is a holiday stateside, so we'll be back on Tuesday. )

@ZOS_Kevin - The announcement mentions the "Roseblood Bat morphing collectible pet" and the "first morph of 2026" (the Roseblood Wings Recall).

I thought that ticket collectibles were going to be working differently now, that the pet wouldn't be morphed any more - not required to create the quarterly collectible, and not consumed when it's created? That's how it worked when Whitestrake's Mayhem was on the PTS, but I didn't see anything about it on the announcement.

There was something about it on the stream, that this will be the new system for the upcoming major update in March or April. If so, and it's not starting now, that would be even more confusing. Could you please clarify? Thank you!

Emperor Durcorach was also known as Black Drake, he was one of the Longhouse Emperors.

sorry i thought it would answer your question as Mayhem has had double xp for years, with the restriction of it only being in PvP areas.

sorry i thought it would answer your question as Mayhem has had double xp for years, with the restriction of it only being in PvP areas.

To further clarify - originally, Mayhem had double XP only for killing players, and it was granted by the buff from the Scroll of Pelinal's Glory, which lasted for two hours.

Some years ago, the buff was expanded to include ALL sources of XP in PvP areas (although those areas aren't exactly the best for PvE XP generation, it's still nice to have it all included). Then a couple years back, ALL event buffs were converted to being passive, and the Scroll became a relic of the past.

So now there's double XP all the time during the event, from all sources, in Cyro, IC, and Battlegrounds, and it's all constantly on, so you don't have to do anything to get it.

Come to think of it, I believe that also applies to the first daily random battleground, which (like the first daily random dungeons) gives a huge amount of XP. I'm pretty sure that's also affected.

It's intentional. Since the pet no longer gets consumed you only need to get it once, instead of multiple times per year.

huh... I guess that's not bad from an economic perspective but it makes very little sense from lore and gameplay perspective...

I love the event outfit style, but the drop rates seem worse than event style page drops in the past. Granted I have been doing pretty much the bare minimum, one BG daily and one IC daily every day, but that's what I do for most events, and a style page typically drops daily. Now I have gone multiple days without any drops. Anyone else notice the same, or is it perhaps intentional? (Hard to see why it would be, as the pet fragments also cost more so there won't be as many surplus tickets.) Here's hoping I will still manage to collect at least the chest and legs before the event is out!

Right, when I noticed I didn't get a page from the first box that day, I ran the intro quest on alts until I did. From my small sample size, looks like a 1 in 7ish drop rate.

Seemed like a smart idea so I did the same. 11 intro quests later I have a drop... a duplicate. The previous one I got was also a duplicate

So I have now twice hands, twice shoulders, no chest, legs or feet which I want the most.

Ah well, I tried, and there are many days left.

Third duplicate today

I just went and bought the styles with gold. (Yes there are 18 more tickets to be had but I wanted to stop worrying about it.) Hope this was just bad luck and not the new trend!

Thanks ZOS for the new collectibles! I was able to sell my duplicate Tava style page drops and buy the ones I was missing on the guild traders. The Tava style pages look good on one of my alts. And I earned enough event tickets doing my one Cyrodiil PvE quest and one Imperial City PvE quest per day to buy the 3 new bat fragments and 1 new recall fragment. Thanks ZOS to whoever did the event ticket math, having the event allow players to get up to 42 tickets while offering 40 tickets worth of new stuff (3 bat fragments plus 1 recall fragment) worked for me.
