As the article noted, it is a 100% boost to XP as long as you participate in Cyrodiil, the Imperial City, and Battlegrounds. That is the only restriction.

In the past we earned event boxes for RftW mails, this article doesn't mention that. Oversight or change to the event?

Believe that was an Oversight. However, I will be able to confirm on Tuesday Morning when we are back in the office. (Note for non-US folks: Monday is a holiday stateside, so we'll be back on Tuesday. )

@ZOS_Kevin - The announcement mentions the "Roseblood Bat morphing collectible pet" and the "first morph of 2026" (the Roseblood Wings Recall).

I thought that ticket collectibles were going to be working differently now, that the pet wouldn't be morphed any more - not required to create the quarterly collectible, and not consumed when it's created? That's how it worked when Whitestrake's Mayhem was on the PTS, but I didn't see anything about it on the announcement.

There was something about it on the stream, that this will be the new system for the upcoming major update in March or April. If so, and it's not starting now, that would be even more confusing. Could you please clarify? Thank you!

Emperor Durcorach was also known as Black Drake, he was one of the Longhouse Emperors.

sorry i thought it would answer your question as Mayhem has had double xp for years, with the restriction of it only being in PvP areas.

sorry i thought it would answer your question as Mayhem has had double xp for years, with the restriction of it only being in PvP areas.

To further clarify - originally, Mayhem had double XP only for killing players, and it was granted by the buff from the Scroll of Pelinal's Glory, which lasted for two hours.

Some years ago, the buff was expanded to include ALL sources of XP in PvP areas (although those areas aren't exactly the best for PvE XP generation, it's still nice to have it all included). Then a couple years back, ALL event buffs were converted to being passive, and the Scroll became a relic of the past.

So now there's double XP all the time during the event, from all sources, in Cyro, IC, and Battlegrounds, and it's all constantly on, so you don't have to do anything to get it.

Come to think of it, I believe that also applies to the first daily random battleground, which (like the first daily random dungeons) gives a huge amount of XP. I'm pretty sure that's also affected.
