Hello, everyone. For a while now, I've been wanting to create a guild centered around hosting events that would make its members lots of gold. Trouble is, I can't think of many types of events to host.
The one event I'm sure of would be doing the dailies in the most recently added zone on multiple characters, for furnishing recipes and motifs.
Maybe we could have an event farming rubedo hide scraps from running in a circle where lots of bears spawn.
And I don't know how valuable the loot drops are from the roaming world bosses, but that could potentially be another option.
Looking for other suggestions. 😇

    Your intentions are well-meaning however I might suggest keeping the event yet base the event around something else. For example, no event is really going to consistently bring in more gold than having a functioning trade guild, which includes a Kiosk, which costs ... alot of gold. Besides, ESO already has events, such as the once-a-year anniversary event, which provides resources that sell for more gold than many people realize.

    There are also drawbacks to hosting events like this. For example, with some people, they'll listen to your idea and all they can see is 'free money'. So, they'll show up, they'll expect to get fed 'free gold'. And that's it. Yeah, that's no good.

    Now there are guild fundraising activities, such as auctions, those have been successful. There are other guild activities, such as Imperial City or Dungeon/Trials nights and so forth. The success of those things depends on alot. For example, once again if you try going into IC with a bunch of people sitting in the back of the group, then you're going to be responsible for them all night cause they are there to get fed, not to contribute. There are lots of streamer videos of EP zergs in particular, with a bunch of people just hanging out in the back waiting for Molag Bal to die at the center of IC. Contrary wise, you can't run 4 man very well with poor DPS. See what I mean?

    It's good to have Guild activities but it's even better when Guildies are motivated to help make them successful rather than expecting the Guild to provide them with unrealistic guarantees. This is one reason why my Guild eventually shut down. I can direct things but I can't do everything and if people aren't interested in the same agenda then the event really isn't worth having, much less the Guild itself. :/
