Craglorn Entry Requirements

Hello, I am curious as to what the entry requirements will be for the new adventure zone Craglorn?

Will any veteran level player be able to access the content, or will it be restricted to V10's only?

Will we be forced to complete Cadwell's Almanac in order to access the content?

Apologies if this question has already been addressed but I could not find the information I required using the search tool. Any accurate and relevant information regarding this is most welcome. I am currently V10 but have absolutely no desire to do any more questing (Cadwell's Almanac specifically) but will endure the boredom of it if that is the only way to access the new content.

Thanks in advance.

They said any Veteran rank character may enter, but it is designed for v10-v12

Paul Sage stated in a video that Craiglorn content starts at VR10
    http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/game-guide/adventure-zones/craglorn (skip to 00:35)

But then again...its stated here http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/news/post/2014/04/14/ask-us-anything-craglorn?ref=home
Did you add more Veteran Ranks? There was a part in the video where the character was Veteran Rank 12! - Austin Parker

Craglorn and the Trials will range from Veteran Rank 11 to Veteran Rank 12, but you will be able to visit at Veteran Rank 1 or above.

I think there needs to be some clarification from ZOS
If content is for VR10+ then how is it possible for a rank1 to play it? Surely thats like a lvl5 character trying to play in a level 20 area?

Really don't think the meaning is for a vr1 to be able to play the content, but only to go to the zone.
You can make a new character and run to high level zones if you stick to the roads, so why should visiting not be possible.

An level 5 can enter a level 20 area, but yes he will get killed.
Same for Craiglorn and VR1, that something is legal don't imply its an good idea :)
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I appreciate the feedback, thank you all responders. Because I am already V10 my main concern or question is will I have to finish the Cadwell's Almanac quest series in order to progress. By the time I was V6 I was totally over doing quests and finished the last 4 levels in group content. I know it's no big deal and I am not trying to make drama but if I could avoid doing quests in any way shape or form and still be able to access the new content I would be a happy man.

You will need a group, besides that VR1 is enough.

Yup, group-or-die comes to ESO, you don't get to do anything in the main part of the 1.1 content update unless you 'group up'. :#

So... just to clarify, there will be no compulsory quests to enter Craglorn?

Do you have to group to enter zone? Or is it just too hard for one player? Is the zone itself instanced or public

Craglorn has a city like other zones (Al Akar). At this place you can pick up quest´s, those quest´s are for 4 players, but there are also side quest´s.

Besides that you have instanced dungeons (Delves) which are only for you and your party of max 4 players, they will have skyshards and nice loot as well.

Last but not least you have Trials which are for 12 players, those are like a quest that you need to do in a specific amount of time. If someone dies time will be deducted from your clock until you have none left.

You can enter the zone alone, but you need other players for the quest´s. That's the last info that I have, if something has changed maybe Kai or Jess could correct me.

Little bit of correction on this post....you are not timed for the Trials, tho there is a leaderboard for best time and revives count against that time, but if you need 12hrs to do it, go ahead, the only thing is you wont be on the leader board. You do however have a max of 60 revives (subject to change)

The entire zone is designed for groups, you may enter at level 1, and do not need a quest done to get there other than being a vr1 character, you will however die...a lot, unless you are a lot closer to vr10. It would be like trying to do the Cold Harbor dungeon solo at level 10...and yes thats a 35 level difference for a reason...VR content does not scale like normal leveling areas of 1-50.

Thank you very much for the information, I look forward to the new content and am so relieved at not having to quest further to get there.

I'm vr10 but is Cadwell's almanac not needed then? I just can't bare myself to finishing that tedious quest grind.

I think you are over-exaggerating things. VR 10 enemies should not be so drastically greater than VR 1 enemies. A group of VR 1s can easily clear a VR 5 Group Dungeon. A group of level 10s will have an incredible difficulty beating merely the second boss in the first (12 - 15) Group dungeon.

Then again, I truly do not know. I wouldn't be surprised, considering how brokenly imbalanced and OP VR enemies in-general are to begin with... But that's a whole another problem entirely...

No and I wish I had known beforehand, the reward is a joke for a vr 10.
