I am not one of these people but it's usually that they're either a fake tank and know they can't fake this dungeon or its a dungeon they don't want to do (so many people insta-leave Lair of Maarselok).

ohhhh
it was that one--Lair of Maarselok
I've only done it once before the rnd, and that was for an achievement to unlock a room in the Hall of the Champions. not my favourite dungeon IMO but not the worst either 🤷🏼♀️
(March of Sacrifices made me want to flip my desk, and Cradle of Shadows takes the cake for worst IMO)

Heh. When I read your opening, I was also about to say, let me guess - Maarselok?xbluerosesx wrote: »it was that one--Lair of Maarselok
It's totally possible to do normal LoM with a dps tank. It's just that very few people want to.
As ZOS is collecting feedback and addressing longstanding issues, I think this would be very good data to look at. Which dungeons have the most people insta-leaving? This is a clear indication of which the community does not like. Maybe they got a phone call, or someone at the door. It happens. But most likely they are noping out of the dungeon to go do something else.
The data is the best source, but my own experience is that players dislike:
1) Immunity phases
2) Long trash sections between boss fights
3) Immunity phases
4) Mechanics that greatly favor being in voice chat for coordination, especially if someone is new to the dungeon
5) Immunity phases
6) Especially long dungeons
7) Immunity phases
And, of course, also immunity phases.
And recent dungeons seem to have more of these disliked features, not less. Trials, too. I would love to see another mini-trial like AS or Cloudrest. No fluff, just the substance.

I will never, never understand why developers or whoever makes the decision, add immunity phases to a damn game. Immunity??? We hit the monster for absolutely nothing. I mean… just lol!

The moment we all get teleported into the dungeon, the tank leaves well before we even get to the first boss. I understand if they leave out of frustration if we wipe over and over again (not saying I endorse this, but I understand, big difference there), but this guy left before I event accepted the dungeon quest.
Knowing how bad queue times are for dps players I had to slot a taunt and pretty much play as a makeshift tank, till the group leader found a replacement, which didn't happen till the final boss. I didn't get to test out my dps build -_-
Tanks who leave before we even fight the first boss, knowing damn well dlc dungs are impossible without a tank, why are you like this?

Even just having a DD build that's better for survival helps if you get a fake or insta-quit support. I try and have a few builds on me so I can adapt and potentially cover for a fake support, or just add a cross heal to take the pressure off a healer eg in a vet DLC run.
