Just want to shout out that the new mythic is really well designed. It helps niche builds like Chilled-based Frostdens be competitive in ST sustained dps. It doesn’t do overpowered AOE or burst damage, but it feels really good for the builds that want it. Please do not nerf 🙏!

Its 100% getting nerfed though. Its single target output is pretty disgusting
It’s got no burst and no aoe, it doesn’t need to be nerfed because it’s never gonna compete with beam bots3 -

It can literally be run on a beam bot...

✭✭✭✭✭When I saw it, I immediately was thinking about adding it to my Infinite Archive build. Sets status effect damage increase from the beginning, which will only get stronger with Focused Efforts.2 -

RandomKodiak✭✭✭✭✭I do see it getting nerfed but hopefully they use a chisel not a sledge. Knocking the buff to 150% instead of 170% let's say would still make it competitive without killing it I think. Different team so let's hope the days of sledging then trying to glue back together are gone.6

Leonis3491✭✭This Mystic is strong ONLY with both Winter's Enbrace (for chilled buff) AND Animal Companion (for bear) lines. And yet, it's not that strong. (180k parse is that we have before arc banner nerf). With all other skill lines combination it's not as strong as you don't use ultimate, specially in Pvp where you need lines for sustain, burst and tanking.
And in PVE, as it was said before, this mystic don't give you great AOE damage (like Fatecarver or new Engulfing dragonfire) or Burst Damage, as it's commonly requiered on most of trials.

✭A bit underwhelming in PvP even when fully trying to build around status effects...
Makes one wonder if the "halved in PvP" restriction is necessary given that the mythic comes with no defensive benefits like Monomyth for example and caters towards more of a pressure playstyle with Winter's Embrace etc while we're in a burst meta.1 -
