    I hope so. i just don't see how such an obvious bug even makes it to pts. so i assumed it's intended.

    I quite like them all. The only thing I don't really like is that the tone of the Azure blue skill styles is now more cyan ''necromancer ghostly blue'' instead of the blue it is on live.

    I’d like to see the shields come back as visuals on the leap and armour skill tha gives one and the new skill that gives you a shield to hang around for the duration or until they’re broken

    Rest in peace Dragonknight, it's been a pleasure all these years, without a complete overhaul of the graphics and artstyle of the game these new animations are awful and this is just the first taste of what's coming to all classes, it was a good run.

    I'm with you on that. I've kinda lost what little interest I had left in the game after taking a look at the visual overhauls on the PTS. They are way overdone for my tatses, remove some of the unique and clearly readable animations, clutter up the screen with so many particle effects that I can barely see what's happening, and severely diminish the excellent sound design of the original skills. I find the two-handed skill line almost as bad (with the exception of Crit Charge. That one actually does look much better). Perhaps the worst for me is that the cadence of attacks just feels way off now. Partly because of animations and largely because of sounds effects.

    I'm sure I could adjust given enough time but I don't think I'll bother. I haven't been the target audience of the game for many years now and I don't expect them to change on my behalf so it's no big loss. I've barely been logging on much anymore as it is so I don't see a reason to worry much about this now. I'm sure the new look will be a big hit and most people will greatly enjoy it and I'm not going to sit here and dump on that parade.

    i think the only skill visual i don't like now is molten weapons. it replaces my weapon with very ugly ones. for example the greatsword is incredibly thick. it's worse than the greatswords from new world. I hate the greatswords in new world.

    I would prefer to choose my own weapon models.

    I'm mad that they took away the ash animation and replaced it with a generic "from the sky down lightly colored semi transparent AoE".

    I'm mad that anyone in their department thinks that a goth backpack with a few small spikes is better than having big pieces of hot glowing obsidian burst out of your back and arms. If at all they should have just added some molten rock aka glowing blood squirt out with it.

    I'm mad that they took one of the best dots and put it in a tree that is almost useless to me except for that one skill so now I can not subclass as well anymore, but made it look better than before and gave it fire damage as it should have been, so now I am torn between damage and style even more.

    There is more, but it they can manage to actually reverse the spike armor buff and dragon blood ability, I can somehow live with it. Even if my build takes a hit, yet again.

    Think heart needs to be removed from dragon blood entirely, but perhaps have the glowing ribcage pulsate for the duration instead? Molten weapons needs to be rethought, think our weapons simply being actively on fire with a cool flame effect would be great and a better indicator of having the buff. The weapons used for the current iteration of the skill can be released as a weapon style pack

    They feel too much of VFX vomit, way too bright (no ash, no smoke etc), and designed with trailer production in mind, rather than pleasant-non invasive in gameplay. They'll look great to sell the game to new players, old eso is not as aesthetically flashy, with the average modern game in mind.
    Sound is terrible for the most part, and some of them, such as Spiked Armor are straigh up terrible. I know they'll change that one, but still, the poll is on current new ones.

    I'd rather have them keep the older ones, maybe with some texture update, than to re-do everything. I'm aware that'll not happen.

    EDIT: I LOVE HOW FIRE REIGNS in the rework or refresh; however, some of visuals are simply too flashy. I am appealing once more: please tone down the flashiness of the rework/refresh skills.

    SPIKED ARMOR

    To the Animation Department: I like the new improved spiked armor from the one you previously introduced on the PTS, where it looked like a spiky caterpillar, at best: a small, glowy, faded turtle shell.

    For the love of a game we adore and enjoy with passion (especially old-timers), please, please remove the outwardly pointy, glowy arrows; it would look much, much better without.

    If you must add anything else, do add pointy scales akin to the ones on the back and on the arms of the character instead.

    Please, revise. Thank you!

    EDIT of edits: somehow I voted for a few of the animations without me actually doing so; 'tis a mystery. Anyway, I like most of the rework animations, although, while breathing fire, I desire my character's brows to crease in: to show anger.

    I like most of the new DK animations
    They did a good job overall, a great direction. The new Searing Strike animation is so fun (alternating sides when you swipe) that I want to use it as a spammable. I've also never wanted to use Ash Cloud before the new, very satisfying visual for it lol.
