Character-specific favorite mounts/costumes?

I know it's been brought up before but can we PLEASE get character specific favorite collectibles? Or just mounts, just mounts would be fine.
I have multiple mounts that would work with most of my character's aesthetics and it's a shame to almost never use most of them. I know I'm not the only one.

I agree. I was very surprised this was account-wide and not a character specific setting, and disappointed because it made it basically useless to me.

If you're on PC one option is to use the addon IsJusta Favorite Collectibles, which lets you have per-character favourites, and more than 100 in total.

I don't know how many people care about this but I also like that it uses the base game menus and blends in pretty seamlessly instead of having it's own UI. I like addons I can forget aren't part of the base game.

I very much prefer it being account wide as it is.

Why? My characters actually 'are' each other. I've been playing the same little wood elf since 2007 (Oblivion at that time), through Skyrim and into ESO. She mastered time travel long ago so chronology/era-hopping is of no concern to her. She wakes up in the morning and decides whether to grab her staff or bow and moves among the differing versions of herself (magplar, magsorc, stamsorc, etc) as easily as she changes hairstyles or costumes. Each version of her looks identical and has only minimal different modifiers to her base name (Buffy).

That said, I certainly can understand that many would appreciate a toggle allowing the ability to choose between account wide or per character regarding faves.

I don't know which platform you're on but now consoles have addons as well there might be one to enable this like there is on PC, or maybe someone could create one?

I hate that they're account wide, it's the sole reason why I barely use the favorite function, hopefully they can give an option for it to be character-only.

As a role player, by the time I am done flagging everything my characters wear it’s nearly the entire list.

So, a character specific option would be nice.

I am more concerned with outfits than mounts personally since I rarely change my mounts around, and we already have a lot of mounts subcategories.

I started going through just adding everything my characters were currently using and ran out of space way before I got to the end.

And that's with some things I use on almost all of them and without using body markings, major adornments and random other stuff.

I gave up and just stuck to stuff my main uses

I wish I could hit agree 100 times on the OP!

Being able to have my argonian choose from her guar collection while my main has her many MANY cats, would be a huge QOL boost for me. I unlock so many things with specific characters in mind, whether that's outfits or mounts or home deco.

If I could set the collectibles as favourites per character I'd do it in an instant.
