    Do not add flame damage
Poison on Dragonknight always felt like a bizarre kludge. I'm sorry but it's true.

When you think about dragons in the Elder Scrolls series you are definitely not thinking about Poison. You are thinking about the Fire, Ice, and Lightning Dragons that relentless strafed you at low-levels in Skyrim and that seemed to be masters of the Magicka-type elements through the use of their Thu'um.

Alot of people thought that the poison effects were cool when they were released. Even if there should be flavor based reworkes, earth bending is also not a thing that dragons do in Elder Scrolls. So the changes made still arent necessarily getting into a good area even if there is more fire now.

Two things, "Earth Bending" is not necessarily a Dovah theme we've seen per say, but the dragons definitely could as they have all sorts of shouts that Skyrim only really scratched the surface of. And there is some evidence of that with Hoaga (possibly Hoag Merkiller, cant remember if theyre the same), one of the Demon Nord Chieftains and Tongues as described in Vivec's 36 Sermons. Dubious source that the Liar may be, he described his thu'um as bringing back the dead by filling their corpses with mud and earth, and that he was seen gathering earth in his mouth to do so.

Besides that, Akaviri magics and practices weren't well documented prior but their "kiai" which DK skills are akin to alongside the thu'um is derived directly from dragons. So even if it wasnt confirmed to have earth bending before, it definitely does now. Poison skills you'd say the same for and I'd agree, there's no reason at all a dragon couldn't have toxin and poison themed abilities, but since we're trying to streamline classes for themes as this is an mmo, if I had to choose I'd rather have DKs be thematically focused like the arcanist.

Its better for build crafting consistency and personally looks better, I never liked the ugly green stuff on your character, it was so badly done. Especially taco breath.

edit: 36 Lessons of Vivec, Sermon 9 excerpt:

HOAGA, the Mouth of Mud, who appeared as a great bearded king, had the powers of Marshalling and breathing the earth. On the battlefields, this demon would often be seen on the sidelines, eating the soil voraciously. When his men fell, Hoaga would fill their bodies back with it, whereupon they would rise again and fight, albeit slower. He had a Secret Name, Fenja, and destroyed seventeen Chimeri villages and two Dwemeri strongholds before being turned away.
