Sure kills all the fun. Yeah, I'm sad to say and as much as I don't want to, but I'm thinking about leaving until the problem is reduced to a tolerable level.drkfrontiers wrote: »I've really tried to just ignore it. I've tried to run around empty dungeons but sorry this is just going nowhere.
The first time I heard a prominent podcaster raging about the open world mechanic regarding spawning, I thought to myself, "Jeez... it can't be all that bad?!"

The amount of bots is no different to other MMO's it's just they are more noticeable on here (mega-server) If WoW or any other MMO that is split across a ton of servers was to merge into one, ESO's bot situation wouldn't look anywhere near as bad.

I can only assume that you no longer have a wish to play any new and or popular MMO since they all have the same issue with bots.

I dont see them in the dungeouns public anymore at all. With the loot lockout timer being longer there is no point.
Also you have GM actually coming into zone and actively telling people to report so they can manually smash them (never seen this level of engagment in 10 yrs of wow)
This sounds like plants and dribble from Blizzard or something it has no bearing on the real situations of the game
Get a grip people - its like complaining to police that there are people speeding and blaming them. Its a part of the world we live in. Also its a really good display of the difference between 1st World and 3rd World (them) - that they can work all day just to produce virtual currency for the money I wouldnt wipe my butt with.
YaY 1st world
First off, I do love the game. Just wanted to get that straight.
But when bots are running rampant through a quest area killing all the mobs meaning there is no impediment to doing the quest, you're walking from A to B and then back again, it renders it somewhat meaningless. When you know there should be mobs between you and your objective, but there's a bot-train running them all down. Robbing you of fun, use of tactics, and XP from dealing with mobs between A and B when you're questing.
