If each character will still only have ten slots, then I hope to see compensation for slots that were purchased in the past. These slots were very expensive and it would really be bad if someone who had 10 slots on all characters didn't get compensated.
@ZOS_Kevin Can you help us to find some clarity on what will happen with these slots?

I'd rather have some crowns back than like 20 outfit slots per toon. I mean I'm not going to get upset about it if the rest of the stuff next year is as neat as it seems but this does seem like a drawback to those of us with a lot of toons who bought outfit slots on a lot of toons.

I bought Dark Brotherhood, Wrothgar, Thieves Guild and Greymoor, but they're going to be included in the base game soon. Should I expect a refund too?

Even if you have 20 characters and you've already bought 10 outfit slots on every single one, I think they are technically giving you something anyway: You'll be able to delete 20 of those characters and the new ones you'll create will already have the same amount of outfit slots without having to repurchase them (by my understanding of how it will work) - this was not not the case before.

20 characters with 10 outfit slots comes to 300,000 crowns. Do you really think people who’ve spent that many crowns would be satisfied with ‘technically something anyway’?

Each slot will be by character. So each character can wear different outfits.
Looking at possibly allowing you to copy outfits across characters.
Also looking at possibly doing armory slots because Kira wants to but that's not guaranteed. Just something she as an individual would find nice.
Still discussing what to do about people who have more than 10 outfit slots.

Limited to 10. This is really disappointing for people who have spent a literal fortune on multiple characters

You still have access to those dlc. This isn't just a change in price, it's potentially the removal of a paid purchase. We don't know enough about this yet to make judgment but those two scenarios are not comparable. It's normal for stuff to go on sale or be reduced in price as time depreciates it's value. It's another for stuff to be discontinued.

Was the limit previously over 10 slots per character? If not, then nothing was lost.
Making things cheaper/more accessible is always a nice thing. Even if it makes past purchases feel wasteful. Much like anything later going on sale or given away for free.
What someone paid for was accessing all of those slots before this change. They got what they paid for, even if now it kind of feels bad that so much was spent that now does not have future value.
