Tech support auto-replies

Over the past six months, I have contacted tech support several times. Each time, I provided evidence of a rules violation and received the same response—that no violation was found. After that, I asked whether I could consider this response from tech support as Zenimax's official position on interpreting the rules, and whether I could refer to it in future interactions with other players and Zenimax staff. Following that question, I then received a response stating that violations had indeed been found.

Why should I constantly have to deal with closed tickets without a proper response, or with bot replies?

On every recent Twitch stream or forum news post, we hear about dialogue and openness. But all we encounter are generic brush-offs and automated responses.

I am attaching three ticket numbers where the situation described above occurred, so that i can get comments on this issue:

    not sure if it is bot replies or a human just sending a copy/pasted response, but their policy for the last few years has been to automatically decline/say no issue was found with every ticket and then you have to dispute it in order to get anything done. whether it is automated or a human copy/pasting, it is not a good way to treat your customers

    Not true, I've reported a few this year and got the 'thanks for reporting the breach of rules, action was taken' message.

    I did get a follow up mid-2025 on one ticket, telling me that a violation occurred and "we have taken appropriate action". I don't submit many tickets though. It has to be something pretty big to make me write one and that might be a factor. Maybe they don't look too closely at smaller things people might report, and which can be harder to prove.
