Weird observation recently

I don't understand how this works out. I guess I have to check out the recordings of my matches against some players.

What I observed that it is me who is buying the destroy cards that allows eliminating cards from one's hand. But sometimes I end up with having more trash cards than my opponent who has bought less than me as far as I see. Just don't know how this can work out.

I sometimes “see” that, but it only happened in case I've exchanged non-eco starter cards (like from Reach or Pelin) for Writs and my opponent hadn't. So if I buy two destroys, and my opponent buys one, our decks may read “6 Treasury” for me and “5 Treasury” for him, so I seemingly have more trash, while in reality his deck still has those trash starters hiding in other categories. Just glancing over Treasury category isn't a full picture.

I mean both players should start out with the same number of white cards. Some of them might be exchanged with 2g white cards but you cannot get rid of white cards unless you get cards that actively destroy cards.

I just had a match again where I ended up with one white card more than my opponent although I didn't see my opponent grabbing more destroy-cards (black eagle only) than me.
Or is there an imbalance that both players start out with unequal number of white cards?

You can exchange any card for “2g white card”. If you exchange Eagle's starter, your deck will go from “1 Red Eagle, 6 Treasury” to “7 Treasury”, which is more “white cards” than your opponent had at the start.

    The opponent is using Ragpickers.

    Just record a game.

There may be strange things in ToT, but I really doubt that players are losing coins for non-game mechanic reasons.
    Rest in Peace:

    2014-2025

This commemoration is for the class that has constantly been plundered and dismantled by designers for no obvious reason while other classes continue to have coherent skill lines and feel both powerful and cool.

Thanks, that coud be indeed. I will could those base cards to the white cards as well to get a full picture.

I see a lot of weird stuff lately. Opponents playing cards they never acquired, buying cards for free, gaining gold, power and prestige from nowhere, but can't prove it since I don't record my games and don't care enough to report them.

theres a lot of cards which allow you to just obtain cards without paying for them

a huge portion of those are in the hlaalu deck (hlaalu has at least 3 or so different cards which let you take a tavern card of X or less value when played)

other stuff like opponents gaining seeming large amounts of gold, power, or prestige are usually due to combos, if they are playing cards fast it can sometimes be hard to follow if less familiar with what a card does

without seeing what was going on though cant really offer much more advice though

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

I already know all these things, none of these were the case. Didn't think it worth mentioning that again and again to fellow gamers.

well without some major gamebreaking bugs i dont see how any of those things your seeing would happen

and without any screenshots or recordings, what i said was the best advice i could give without knowing your experience level with tribute, or any of the other details (such as patrons in play during the games where saw issues)

sorry for trying to be helpful and give some advice
