Please unban him. He has repented of his actions (he still hasn't told us why he deserved such a punishment).

The two bolded statemets don't support each other. How can you know that he has repented if you don't even know what it was they had done to begin with?

Once again as someone who has went through this, a call to action won't help at all. The best thing for him to do is to keep trying to get in contact with a human through the support ticket. (The vague corporate responses are usually automated).

If he gets in contact with a human, they will review his case and probably have him speak to a manager if it's a really serious infraction.

Pretending to be innocent when not, is a bad play (not saying he isn't but it's not for me to judge).

It is very possible that your friend isn't being truthful. On the other hand it is possible that ZOS made a mistake or your friend accidentally exploited and got caught in the crossfire (happened to me in pvp).

unless, of course, you consider going invisible a teabeg.

yes, actually, that can very well count as teabagging. if i had to take a wild guess... i'd say there's multiple infractions going on here along with the possible exploiting and account sharing. you're probably looking at your own ban for reposting publicly what jess replied to you privately also. assuming that this whole "asking for a friend...." business is actually asking for a friend >.>

My friend has already repented of his actions...

What did they repent of if they didn't do anything wrong?

My thoughts exactly. OP has said this a couple times. Odd?

I have a feeling this is more of a translation issue as it appears the op is not a native speaker and may be using translation apps or something similar. With that kind of thing, the nuance of how he talks or a slang way of speaking just won't translate.

Sometimes it can completely change the meaning.

I remember someone on another forum who kept saying things like "you will humbly appreciate my kind advice" when answering questions, until someone asked them why they were being so condescending. Apparently in their language it was standard polite/formal wording, but automatically translated into English it had the opposite effect and sounded really arrogant. They were pretty motified when they found out!

Fun/funny is another common problem. In English they have very different meanings, especially when for example suggesting things to help new players. Fun = they would enjoy it, funny = I will laugh at them attempting it, but if you're not fluent in English it would seem logical that they mean the same thing. (The clue there is it's English, nothing about it is logical.)

In our global world, it can sometimes fall by the wayside that not everything comes across the way it's intended. It's why I dislike text chatting. I do it, of course, but would much rather speak. Idk if this is what's going on with the op but there's many clues in his posts that we're not hearing what he's intending.

What's the difference between ZOS and TOS? I play German on PC via Steam. Help via ZOS on german speaking accounts ( germany, austria, Switzerland and many player near germany,) is very rare and we need more support. Of course, @Kai schober bringt viel, aber nicht, was die Spieler erhoffen. ZOS sollte da merklich nachbessern, um am Markt bestehen zu bleiben. Danke.

Zenimax Online Studios (the company that made ESO)

    TOS
Terms of service (the rules player agree to, in order to play ESO)

Bans can happen to someone for being a member of the LGBT community if they received false reports because of their LGBT status.

So, I'm not going to claim the OP is victimizing anyone when we don't know the reason behind the ban and there's a clear translation issue.

What I will say is that now that you have gotten the attention of support and a human will review the ticket, you've done all that you can for your friend. I understand you want to help your friend. But you should refrain from getting mad because it won't help the situation. Pass along the advice about not sending multiple tickets. It's taking so long because they keep leaving the queue.

Surprised this was allowed to stay open tbh, one of the team should take this to a pm before it gets too messy.
Zos then: Vengeance is just a test bro

Zos now: Do you want Vengeance permanent or permanent...

I'd have considered that if OP didn't state they don't know the reason for the ban either, if OP is oblivious to the situation and yet is using the LGBT community as some sort of shield for something unrelated, then it's easy to assume it's an attempt to victimize their friend.

Though now people are bringing up a possible language barrier too, so who knows?

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic, as it's about an account issue. We have also closed this, as doctorosen received the appropriate instructions for this and further discussions about it are against Community Code of Conduct.
