That's me.

With the rng always stacked against me in favor of my opponents, triggering a concede remains my only shot at winning, or lose my progress.

So whenever I feel like rage quit but want to avoid the time penalty nore, the best revenge is wasting my opponent's time as well.

The NPCs never seem to mind when I take a long time to make my moves.

But on the rare occasions that I do play matches against other players, I try to make my own moves as quickly as I reasonably can, regardless of how long my opponent is taking.

Just encountered another one. Opponent got all the right cards, even some I never even saw them acquire. Extremely sus. Ended up losing 6-59.

My only option was letting the time run out as petty revenge.

I've seen that happen,too but I don't know if it's some kind of cheat or a bug in the game. It may not be the opponent's fault so I don't want to seek revenge on them if it's not deserved.

Possible with Mora if stars align. Go second with 4 coin and Unsealed Glyphic (5g1p), buy Unfathomable Secrets (3g6p), use Eagle to draw extra coin (4g4p), buy second Unfathomable Secrets (5g9p) and Blackmail (2g11p). 13 power is doable if there's Imprisonment on the table instead of Blackmail.
Also possible with bunch of Hlaalu contracts on the table and Crow patron.

But there weren't all of these cards. It was the very first hand of the game and they went first so the most they could have had was 5 coins to spend. And they did not use the Crow patron.

I've never seen anything out of place happening in my almost 2 years of play. I'm not playing much, maybe 3-5 games a day for “First win” rewards, and I don't touch the leaderboards. But I believe if there were any server shenanigans, some streamers would have been hit already, and clips with evidence would show up in circulation.

These are all Casual games that I'm playing. I only play a game or two most days, but not every day. I used to play a lot of Ranked games and don't remember this stuff happening back then. But it's too consistent now and impossible plays being made.

Perhaps I am biased because I play on PS-EU, but I never had any issues, problems or situations where I wasn't able to understand what has happened.

I had two disconnects, so I lost the game and it looks like this happened also a few times to my opponents.

But with literally thousands of games that can totally happen. I am speaking about a single digit number, don't know, perhaps 6 or 8 of these incidents.

Still, I don't know if PC-Players have more... "possibilities" to enhance their game with certain "little helpers"...

It feels like rng randomly picks a favorite from the start, handing them the best hands and opportunities making it impossible for anyone to beat unless they ignore all that. Meanwhile the other side gets none. Just a matter of luck which side gets picked.

This happened to me twice yesterday. The other player got the first play and had 3 good low cost cards available. They bought a couple and removed one leaving me nothing good.

Just lost several other matches, the last one even against a friend who (as a test) left all the right cards for me, except the rng still made sure they won by a landslide.

Me neither and I‘ve played several thousand of matches with players (I never play against NPCs). I think a lot of this is either exaggeration, lack of observation or outright didn’t happen at all.

The only thing that lets me raise my eyebrows is very strange and coincidental RNG (like mentioned above where you are clearly winning yet the game gives the opponents one or two Tithe cards so they can turn the game around with a Patron victory).

Yeah, I seem to be seeing more people trying to do this nowadays. That, or it's just taking some folks a reaaaaaaaaaaally long time to figure out what they want to do on their first and second turns when they have 1 power and 0 gold left.

This behavior is so toxic and not okay. I have reported people several times who did that but it's not against TOS apparently.

Really not something you should brag about, and especially here on the forums. If you dislike the RNG in TOT, don't play it, but please don't waste other people's time because of your bitterness.

I wish ZOS would apply the TES Legends system where you can't do that more than a few turns.

Generally speaking, in my experience, the only people who complain about "snitching" are either those doing something that deserves to get snitched on or those who idolize such people.

I've not reported it, but it's a form of griefing, so I certainly don't think reporting is unwarranted.

Sending an anonymous email to the authorities reporting someone you have beef with and let them sort it out doesn't take courage.

That doesn't smell like "standing up for the right thing" to me.

Openly confessing to a wrong and debating the reason why, now that takes courage.

Nothing was mentioned about an anonymous email to the authorities reporting someone we have a beef with. In the context of this thread I am assuming it had to do with reporting a player that is doing things just to harass others. That would not be an anonymous report at all and would be appropriate, not cowardly. So we may just have to disagree on this one.
