You mean no to all the things that will keep people playing over time. In only a month most people have completed all the quests at least once.
So what now? Should everyone stop the subscription and just come back when the new content is here which will no doubt take another month to complete?
I love parts of the ESO experience, but it needs filling out big time. There is nothing to do but quest... That's a problem.
Before the TES crowd come in and start saying TES is all about questing, stop and think. They took the step to make an MMO, at which point it stopped being about just questing and lore and became a massively multi-player experience. Currently it is neither multi-player, nor massive. In fact the only thing massive is the void in PVP and the number of bots running around.
I'm board and the biggest reason is because I am being forced to quest before I even start on PVP and it's not like I just need to get to 50. No, I need to do every bloody quest the the game.... What!! Have ZeniMax just completely missed what makes PVPer's want to play?
After questing all this time, I am pretty familiar with my class and would like to try another, maybe a caster. Wait... I have to do EVERY quest in the game AGAIN!!!

You're board? I've always wanted to meet a plank of wood.
Board the ship you scurvy dogs!
I'm bored to death grinding VR.
Difference?

I have Dyslexia, you should be happy that I run a spell check. Unfortunately I can't get everything and people seem more intent of pointing out peoples problems in this community than anything else. It says a lot about the ESO community in my opinion. People are frustrated. It shows.
The only one of these I object to is duelling, and even then if it's restricted to special Arenas that I can avoid, then I have no problem with it. But not open world PVP areas like Swtor, which were a pain.Tannakaobi wrote: »No to small scale PVP

The most successful MMO's offer variety. Why should I not be able to enjoy and level up while PVPing? Would that harm the questing/PVE? Would it draw in more players? ESO was after all advertised as a unique PVP experience.

The ESO community is in game, playing, this is the fringe community. Careful where you step lol.
That being said, some of those items on your list are being added in the Craglorn patch.

It was more the "list" and the assumption that everyone wants what you want. BTW I totally agree that you should be able to level from 1-VR10 doing nothing but PvP and do it at a similar pace to PvE. But as an example of the varied player base, I absolutely don't want them to use resources to create dueling, small scale PvP, arenas, as an example

That's the problem. Got to slow down.
Most games can not get all the content they need to get out when a launch date is announced. They are a company and been working many months with no income and now they have to start some sort of income generation to continue the game. SO some of the end game content they put in wasn't ready and now those people who power leveled are bored.
We know new content is coming. You have been told it is coming. Its being tested as we speak. No need to make these points when you know there is more content coming. Go play another game if your bored until the new content is here.

This is very much possible to do vr1-10 only in pvp. I have a guild mate who is keeping pace with me, he is currently VR7 I am VR6. I do mostly PvE/Dungeons and he does only PvP. We mostly play the same amount of time.
I guess people are so subjective on their view points without actually trying anything different, cause some person told them on the internet that this is the way it is. Go try it for yourself.

Your not understanding what I am saying. How fast you get to 50 plays no part in what I said. New content is coming but not PVP, just a load more PVE.
I want to PVP, time is short and I HAVE to play hours of questing to do so. The new content will only add to this even more so.
adamlmartin_ESO wrote: »As a guild leader who focuses on small scale PvP I can tell you ESO needs more of it.. imo the farms/resources are to close to the keeps they need to be way further out.. To split the Zerg and give smaller guilds/pvp groups a chance... or maybe just more interactblies through out cyro towns, quest hubs etc (that are worth a damn)
And yes to everything else btw
Im happy and tolerant and disagree with all of your points except higher xp in pvp
Get your ass to Bruma!

We are only a month and a half into the game. I have faith it will get better but its not going to get better instantly. Devs already said there time frame for new content is on a 4-6 week schedule. We are at or close to the 6th week already and Craglorn is looming. Once that hits figure at least another 4-6 weeks before any new content.
