Apologies for the silence, I have just gotten back from my weekend. As mentioned, at this point it would be best to submit a ticket.

The problem in my case was Akamai. (a service ZOS pays for to keep various online mischief)
If you use a proxy server you can get around Akami and then the problem went away for me.

Does ZOS use A.I. trouble-shooting or customer service emails? Some of the help I have been offered sounds off or repetitive. I don't know if I should trust the instructions now. I do not understand what 'alternet' is. When I looked it up the description was "AlterNet is a left-leaning news website based in the United States." How does a news site have anything to do with fixing my launcher?

I can assure you that we do use live agents for support tickets. Can you provide the ticket number so I can take a look?
@shadoza It seems you are confusing two different issues here. Your game crashing has absolutely nothing to do with the error your launcher gives. The launcher gives a faulty error, and can be ignored(has done so for me for many months, and is something ZOS should really fix**). If you do run a repair, this will actually corrupt the files, so do not run a repair!
However, you crashing is a real issue. This wasn't 100% clear from your posts, but your game crashing is a crash to desktop or to login screen? Also, what are your specs, mainly GPU/CPU/motherboard? Could you post the related eventviewer error(check eventviewer after the crash)?
Assuming you are crashing to desktop(as you state you see the launcher error when this happens), I am suspecting two things:
1: Your GPU drivers are not functioning well. If you have a Nvidia 40 series GPU, use 566.36 as the latest stable driver. If you have AMD, you will have to do some research yourself, as I am not familiar with AMD GPUs or drivers.
2: *Let a professional do this! Or do not touch this at all!* Your CPU is set to a too high speed and is not capped in the BIOS(has been happening with MANY new computers lately as BIOS's come uncapped). This will give various errors and crashes, especially with something like ESO. Be VERY CAREFUL before adjusting anything in the bios! Check online for your CPU and motherboard specs, to see what the maximum speed for your cpu/motherboard combination is. Then check your motherboard manual on how to safely set that speed(let a professional do this!).
Goodluck in getting this resolved!
PS: If it is a crash to login, then it is a network/ISP problem. And you can ignore my above suggestions.
**Note for ZOS: Not sure why this faulty launcher error is happening, but my guess is due to SSD drives moving ESO's files around while the game is running already. Causing the launcher to think the files are missing/corrupt, even though they are not. I can be in-game, even for 6+ hours on some days, without any crashes/disconnects/performance issues at all and never run a repair(even though the launcher wrongly tells me I should).**
This is a shot in the dark, but do you have multithreaded rendering turned on? If so, turn it off. I used to bluescreen about every 45 minutes because of this setting, and turning it off fixed it for me.
Ah, I get it! The above still applies. (a BIOS update may also fix your issue)@shadoza It seems you are confusing two different issues here. The game is crashing to the launcher (launcher is still open.) The error box that comes up says different things; The launch failed, the files are corrupted, or no message at all and the launcher is just frozen.
The graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
My CPU is not overclocked
Memory is 32G Ram, 32G GPU, and 16G NPU
GPU use is less than 30% during game
RAM use is less than 12% or less during game
latency (in game) is reading about 60 - 70
There is no drag, lag, glitches or stuttering, the game just falls down (quits itself.) The game was running great until the end of September, then just started the crashing.
The only thing the launcher has to do with the crashes is the reports that sometimes show up afterward. I do not know what is going on.

Yes. the ticket number is 251006-000082
If you run through the many instructions, I am asked for the same information and asked to do the same processes. This is a serious issue that other people also have.
I launch the game, play for a time between 30 minutes and 4 hours. The game crashes and reports the launch failed. Some times, I can play for several hours and the game does not crash.
The problem is not that I cannot launch the game. I do not have problems with the launcher except for the one time that the trouble-shooter suggested I delete my launcher and replace it. Then the launcher would not launch and I had to replace it with a copy I had on back up.
The problem is not that I cannot play the game. I play well without serious latency. Usually around 60. Latency does not go up before the crash.
The problem is not that I do not have enough memory. (one email asked me to do several hardware checks including spending over an our testing memory.) I have 32G RAM, 16G NPU, and 32G GPU. RAM and graphic memory were not even close to being 30% in use for the who process on the PC.
