Transmuting made my weapon disappear

On Xbox EU I just transmuted my Sergeant's Mail lightning staff from Sharpened to Precise using my crafting character at the station in Clockwork City. I went back to the banker in Vvardenfell to transfer it to my other character but couldn't find it in my inventory.
I went back to the transmute station and could still see it in there if I wanted to transmute it again, but it was nowhere in my inventory. I logged out and back in again and now its not visible in the transmute station or in my inventory, its just disappeared.
Is this a known bug - is there a resolution? It was part of my other character's armoury load-out that he can no longer equip if that affects things?

Update after rebooting my xbox this afternoon - its back as visible in the transmute station but not in my inventory. This is so frustrating!

More info: I was able to unlock it at the transmute station and I can see it at the woodworking station as available to deconstruct. However I can't see it at a vendor to sell, or at the bank, or in my inventory... What gives?
I've disabled all addons, reloaded UI, rebooted the game etc...

Just open a support ticket they should be able to help

Stupid question: did you check the weapon slots of you char? An equipped weapon doesn't show up in the inventory, but can be de-conned at crafting stations.

Is it possible you already put it in the bank? That would explain why you can’t find it in your inventory but you can see it to decon it.

EDIT: I see the part about the Armory and another character now. Is it possible you transferred it to another character because that would also allow you to see it to decon but not see it on the bank.
