It's sad to see a game that you love and have been playing since 2018 turn into this. Since this event started, I've played for a maximum of an hour, I don't think I'll ever go back, I've never seen such a bad event, without creativity, what a disappointment for the hype it generated for me, I expected much more, I hope they see it one day.

That's a little hyperbolic, don't you think? I mean it's not that bad. It's a long-term event; we need to give it time.

What I found annoying is the poor rewards from the purple boxes.
Getting attacked at the base camp if I were in my werewolf form
The manipulation of the progress bar, that thing is just a joke now
    The very boring fetch quests

I find that if I do the events to get the Glorious Box from each, then just go back to what I would be doing anyway, it's fine. I certainly wouldn't stop playing over it, but each to their own, I suppose.

I suspect the event is the straw that broke the camel's back for this player.
I know I'm still in a bit of shock about all the bad things that have happened in the past year: subclassing, BGs, Vengeance, an $AUD80 chapter that delivered less than anything in the past; plus the extremely poor server performance.

Just think how disappointed you'd be if you were a PvP player forced to play vengeance.

the progress bars were always a joke. they were just less obvious about changing it in the past.

I'm afraid time won't fix the problem.

As I previously said on another thread:
    • Dailies are FEDEX/fetches quests
    • We have to farm the same zones with too many other players to get the needed materials
    • There were many bugs the first day and there are still bugs today
    • It's not a unique event
    • Mobs and bosses at dolmens are far too weak and get parsed in 15 secs without moving an inch
    • Good rewards in containers have a very VERY low drop rate. I made 150 dailies and yet only got 3 pieces for the pet
    • No French voices

Please, explain to me how this is related to time and how much the event needs it to get any better?

I agree with Mathius who has summed up how I feel so well that I don’t have to type it myself. Thanks, @Mathius_Mordred !

As someone who has played since 2015 I don't think ZOS is really deserving of this blind faith that the next 2 parts will live up to the hype. What happens if Phase 2 is a buggy mess with bad rewards just like Phase 1 is? Are people really going to wait until Phase 3 to determine if this event has anything worthwhile going for it? Many players have already decided this event is not worth their time.

Even if you're okay with participation in the event being minimal by limiting yourself to a couple dailies a day you can still criticize the event for being bad when it was hyped up so much as a once in a lifetime thing.

    Exactly.

The game has 11 years old now. How could we accept "to give it time" when the game has been making events for 10+ years...

There is absolutely no reason to hope ZOS will do better at the next step of this event.

Lol the people that after 10 years are still willing to "give it more time" are the same type that usually argue "its just a beta release will be different"...must be nice to live life choke full with copium.

I could say the same except I started in 2015. I left a while back before this event. When subclassing was released. That ended my decade of playing ESO.

This event and its implementation is hardly a surprise… the only thing this team cares about is the crown store.

After thirteen thousand plus hours, it's the same event with different coating. It's been the same event for like the last 5 years. Go to a dead zone for random items, to boost activity to seem populated. Here's a box of one reward item and some trash. "Low drop rate? Guess you gotta keep doing them bro lol." Year after year. God help you if it's crafting related. Those poor people with multiple accounts obsessed with writs just feeding the activity numbers. I miss summerset era eso. It was more alive then.
