0 Shards of Writhing Bone (Caltrops skill style) after 156 dailies

I'm not trying to be a grump here, but I really want the Bone Caltrops. I've been trying to farm it. I've done 156 daily quests in the Siege Camp (yeah, sorry, I'm partially responsible for ZOS turning down the progress percentage LOL). I've got 6 for the baby Mota, but 0 for Caltrops.
Is it dropping for anyone? If so, from which coffer?

Lucjan✭✭✭I will give you the opposite end of the spectrum, just to show the potential. Yesterday, PC EU (on 7 characters): 8 caltrops fragments.
Did all 24 dailies on 3 characters and that yielded a single one. On the other 4 characters later I mostly skipped the fetch quests and got 7 fragments in the course of the evening.0 -
SwordOfSagas✭✭✭✭I got 2 of them off a guy for 10k each lol, looked in the guilds to see listings and people tryna sell them for 500k+. I put them in for 250k each and they sold pretty fast, this is on xbox NA. I seen what the style looks like and its basically normal but different colour. I was expecting actual bones on the ground.0 -
QB1✭✭✭can anyone confirm if the shards of writhing bone drop from the blue coffers or just the first yellow ones for the day?? The new skill style is the only reason i'm playing this event so don't wanna waste time farming if there's no point

I've been getting multiple every day, including from blue coffers.@MorvanClaude on PC/NA, don't try to trap me with lore subjects, it will work🦇2 -

Auberon1983✭✭✭✭It never ceases to amaze me how RNG works. People who want the shards can't get them, and I, who don't want them at all, get minimum one per day. I just give them to guildmates.
I'd like to extend that to here; if any of you are on PS/NA and struggling to get bone shards, either drop your PSN here or send me a PM with it. I'll send them out as I get them.0 -

They can also drop from the blue coffers, from the chests at the end of a siege camp, and from the chests at the end of the bosses in the Writhing Fortress.
If you have any alt characters, try doing a few of the event dailies on those characters to see if they have any better RNG.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!2 -

From what I read in these forums, all of the event collectibles will continue to occasionally drop from the daily reward coffers for the siege camps after the event has ended. If that's the case, hopefully you'll still be able to complete the skill style after the Writhing Wall event is over. I'm hoping this includes the Wormwrithe outfit style pages, as I'm missing several of those.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

✭I’ve had some - but having done a lot of dailies over multiple accounts, I can say with conviction that this event’s drop rate is the least consistent I have seen in ESO.
Getting anything of any value is rare. That’s borne out by community feedback.
Getting junk is all too frequent.
There’s obviously nothing in place to prevent or lower the chances of receiving multiple of the same items.
TBH I have given up on that particular skill style. I don’t want to collect half of them and then the event end, so I’m just selling whatever I get.GM of Sunfire's Sect trading guild on PC/EU. ✭✭✭✭✭I think I had over 60 of the pet parts but was still missing 5 bone parts. I found some kind soul who listed that many for sale in a guild trader for a very good price. Thankfully, they and the people who listed the purple furnishing plans I was missing for a price I was willing to pay have ended my loathsome grinding of the siege camp dailies.
Now I can put this event behind me.
