What are your general thoughts on new houses?
• Druidspring Conservatory.
i have seen pictures and a video of this.
i love this house.
The Hedge Charm toggle for the seasonal hedges and particle effects like snow is fun.
The new Alinor style greenhouses are beautiful.

• Cradle of the Worm Colossus.
haven't seen more than the livestream screenshot, but i like that it has a dummy.
And i really want those blue windows! i hope update 49 has them as furniture.
though i should say i am not very interested in this house as it has a Coldharbour environment and is too murdery for me.

What do you think of the new furnishings?
Most of the Worm Cult furniture is good to me, though i find the furniture with skull printing like rugs a bit strange.
i love the blue lamps, Blacksmith station, books and cases, and bed.

Thanks for all the new stone and plant furniture.
The new Argonian furniture looks very good, happy to see a gazebo (i hope its antiquity lead has a decent droprate).

Do you have any other general feedback?
Please give us the greenhouses from Druidspring Conservatory as furniture!

And it would be helpful if the droprate for dlc zone treasure maps and its furniture antiquity leads got increased by a lot. Orrr just give multiple sources for the leads besides map chests.

What are your general thoughts on new houses?
Druidspring Conservatory
A cool concept, I really want to like this one.
I do not like the toggle for hedges, I would much rather have new seasonal hedges as furniture. I find this feature limits creativity. It's kind of just a gimmick. Each area feels rather small. I dislike the green orb that can't be removed, or any lights that can't be.
A house where we could toggle the season would be a much cooler gimmick, I think. Especially if it had space to build our own houses.
I do like that it's a notable home that isn't absolutely massive, but it could be bigger.
The views are pretty nice, though I think I would prefer a house that is a lot, green house furnishings that we can place the greenhouse buildings as we like, season for whole lot being togglable, or even choosing the season of each section. Though I do not like the appearance / green animation on the Hedge Charm.

Cradle of the Worm Colossus
I don't really get this house. I'm not sure if the effect of the toggle with the colossus is just not working as intended or if it's supposed to look like that. I find it quite lack luster overall.

What do you think of the new furnishings?
I like the new furnishings a lot, Worm Cult line especially. Though I would really like to see more winter/snowy items, especially with the new houses. Would really love to have the hedges as furnishings as well as actual garden furnishings (vegetables, herbs, fruit trees)

Do you have any other general feedback?
Just a want for more mundane things and less gimmicky sorts of things. I like building from scratch style homes. More lots would be amazing.

Cradle of the Worm Colossus

Main points:

For 700 slots, the size feels better than the sprawling mansions of the past!
Could be good for reskins or decoration as-is, depending on builder's style.
The "Colossus Cradle" doorway inside – Awesome vfx! Want to use just that; wish it was a furnishing.
(Removable) Target Worm Colossus being included with the house is cool!
Too many load screens ☹👎

Main points:

A house that could put my ESO currencies in danger! 😱
My sole grumble / wish: that this could be an event earnable instead of a Crown Store exclusive.
Love that the entrance opens up directly to the main outdoor area! No need to waste 100s of slots on railroading / reskinning a path.
NO load screens! 🎉
Love that most of the hedges are removable!
The greenhouses are gorgeous – only wish the new ones were movable furnishings too.
On that note, could we pleeeeease have the various windows from these greenhouses as single, flat pieces? 😊🙏 As well as other small, clear window options!
The size feels much better for 700 slots versus previous Manor homes!
Slight negative: we'd love to see more water features inside homes. HI/Galen zones especially have those beautiful blue ponds and streams; it's a shame these aren't included inside any of Hi/Galen homes.

EDIT: Must also agree with McGraves above – prefer loose furnishings over toggles, though a full season change would be great, and YES, more empty lots!

The Wing Glass Harp, Sanguine is not interactable or audible like the Mirrormoor Glass Harp - is this intentional?

If so, please can this be reconsidered? I've been hoping to add it to my Sanguine themed house since seeing it for the first time when Solstice was first on the PTS!

I think the possibility of having a non-interactable one drop from a furnishing plan and an interactable one from the Crown Store would not be unreasonable?

Or if we can't have it as a furniture item, a momento instead?

Last one maybe: FWIW, I really like this bookcase and the more "plain" & wooden Worm Cult furnishings! They have nice textures and could work with other styles.

I'd love to see more plain, "common" items for gold / craftable, like ladders etc. that we see around Tamriel.

Also glad to get some Stone-Nest items; I'd been admiring the cute basket and snake brazier around Solstice

Hoping for Stone-Nest structures in U49 🤞

EDIT: Forgot to mention, thanks for this too! —

I enjoy harvesting in Solstice because it's possible to get those items and they're not TOO rare (unlike some other content *cough*treasure map leads, vvardenfell plants*cough* that has such poor RNG that it's not fun - too disappointing to bother with). Increasing the drop rate is very welcome! I will harvest and fish more

I see some people confuse why Alinor furnishings are being used in here. We know Bretons can variously embrace either their ancient human or elvish heritage. Would be neat if the loading screen text mentioned the elvish bit too as an excuse for the high elven greenhouses being used.

I have noticed that there have been changes between the furnishings in the Cradle of the Worm Colossus from week 1 on PTS to week 2. Namely:

2 x Soul Gems, Scattered became 2 x Black Soul Gems, Spiky Cluster

1 x Letter from Tanlorin and 5 x Letter, Personal became 6 x Letter, Personal - This one was probably a mistake to begin with.

11 x Worm Cult Chair, Padded became 12 x Worm Cult Chair, Padded

But the BIGGEST change is:
1 x Target Worm Colossus is missing altogether.

Was this intentional? The draw of the house, even in the written details, is that is contains a Target:

Discovered by guild mages in the aftermath of the Writhing Wall campaign, this dread realm hosts a bone colossus personally crafted by Wormblood. Wrest this stronghold from the worms and use the colossus to practice your best combat moves!

Please inform if this is a permanent change. Thank you

Druidspring Conservatory

Beautiful home, I just wish there was an entry to the natural landscape out back. An opening through the hedges to go for a nice walk and hear the waterfalls. (I'd love to jump through the hole in the rock to the South, through the hedge and out to go for a stroll) Even if we can't interact or build out there, it would be awesome to experience the nature from within the setting. A few park benches would be enough.

At the very least a small open air sitting balcony off the greenhouse.

Overall, very nicely done, the hedges are fun, beautiful ambience, just a little closed in. Great work!

It'd be awesome to have this piece to use elsewhere, and makes this house almost an empty plot with so much more potential for from-scratch builders.

I like the look of the 2 new houses fine. Have to echo much of the above in that most serious housing enthusiasts will want to remove as much of the original house as possible and we all love open plots.

Sorry, but I just can't stop myself from asking for (in general) ...

1) More structural pieces (especially roofing/gable options & structures that will match older areas like Eastmarch etc)
2) Weapons & Armour ... even if it's just a few standalone lux furnisher type items ... a weapons rakc, a stave or two, some armour pieces to have lying around ... ANYTHING FOR GOODNESS SAKES

What are your general thoughts on new houses?

The devs did a great job, I like especially the Conservatory for innovation.
However, many players keep asking for a 700 slots empty place to build from scratch, and with this in mind, more structural furnishings. There are so many large themed houses already, and the effort to create such places is considerably lower, why don't you consider it?

Druidspring Conservatory

I love this, but dislike what is fixed and can't be moved or changed (I understand there are technical issues involved, but still).

Cradle of the Worm Colossus

I won't comment because I am not into necromancer houses. It's very well done visually though.

What do you think of the new furnishings?

Necromancer / worm cult is not my thing, but many people will love it, so there is little to say from my part.

What I like is when I see things that can be used in many situations, like book stacks and other clutter.
We still want weapon racks, mannequins, clutter related to workshops or armory and so on. Another missed opportunity in this regard.

Do you have any other general feedback?

As a housing fan, I am discouraged to see there is little reaction to our constant feedback over the years. Many players have said here that we don't really enjoy to see so many new huge housing spaces, and no flat empty spaces to try our creativity. Sometimes we take great lengths to hide an existing house to create something new, but in this process a lot of slots are wasted.
With each housing update, I would like to see some of the old themes revisited, same like it happened with the Summerset theme. Those greenhouse panels could be stand alone windows or walls. People would be thrilled to get them! There are so many things to improve or to add! The addition of these cool Argonian structures is a nice surprise, but we need more structural items for this theme. More structural furnishings for the Dwemer theme, dark or iced or whatever. More structural elements for the Hew's Bane theme. Windows, stained glass, roof elements, you understand the idea.
I know it takes a lot of time to do these... but there is also the fact this system, housing, is very very popular, and has little updates compared to how much it contributes to economy and the crown store. I also feel the Luxury Vendor needs at least one assistant, in order to have more themes available at once, and more luxury furnishing items in general. Waiting a year for a few items is just a missed opportunity.
