For this first run, I'm on a copied alt who's completed pretty much everything relevant (MQ / guild quests / Cadwell's Gold / all DLC Chapters / Zone questlines) and I'll be focusing on quests and dialogue.

Having finished the Writhing Wall delves including the Writhing Fortress and progressed through to Eastern Solstice, I'm now stuck partway through The Worm Turns. The person I was grouped with (who is on a template alt) hasn't been affected and is able to progress the quest, while I later spoke with someone on a copied alt who was also stuck at the same point.

I've tried various combinations of logging off/back on, teleporting away and back, abandoning the quest again... nothing. Azah's quest marker is still stuck on him, he repeats the same dialogue after changing location, (with no dialogue to prompt us to follow him, so discovering he does move was a fluke), and I can't see where to go to find Walks-In-Ash and Darien except by following my groupmate.
Meanwhile Azah just moved from bridge to lookout and back each time I get more than a few paces from him, and he's stuck in the same dialogue loop indefinitely. Footage is from my final attempt after abandoning, logging off for 20 minutes and retrying it solo (apologies for the low volume, I'll take a look at my settings):
    https://youtu.be/x2lOX6mPzxs

We also noticed that when first approached, Azah and the Fellowship soldiers were stuck in the ground, although Azah popped out when his line triggered, (this occurred for both of us) but everyone remained above-ground while I was attempting to progress the quest with return visits, so it wasn't repeatable on this alt.

Same problem. Has me wondering if the dialogue we get for having done the main quest isn't counting as finishing the conversation for the quest to continue.

Thanks all! We'll take a look at this and see what's going on.

Update: We found the issue. This will happen if you're on a character that has completed the "Breaking the Shackle" quest from the base game. We've got a fix being pushed now and I'm hoping we can get it in ASAP. Stay tuned!

Running a template alt (CP3600) through Part 2 so I can keep going while waiting on the 'The Worm Turns' fix for my copied alt, and Azah doesn't have the quest for me to pick up.
Apparently the only solution found so far is to go back and do Part 1's questline, from 'The Stirk Fellowship' to the end of 'The Writhing Wall' (so the first 4 quests), and then it blocks any further progress on that, but Azah will now reappear (if he had disappeared meanwhile) and give you the 'The Worm Turns' quest:
    2yb37epa742o.png
(many thanks to Allia for the snip, I'm still partway through completing these)

Which is all rather tedious, but at least provides some scrambled dialogue to laugh at, due to this questline's 'pre-completed' status:
    qph6t2fiyjzf.png
(Look, I need to amuse myself somehow while rerunning content I've already done umpteen times, and there are only so many pets I want to turn myself into)

Technically this is feedback on a bug 'fix' from the last PTS, Update 47, for the delve quests with Darien.

Although he no longer spawns duplicates when you get him stuck in the boundary of his navigable area, he now simply despawns shortly after delivering one of his 'wrong way' lines, disappearing while we watch. There is a tiny chance of him spontaneously respawning if you run straight back into bounds, but it happened only once in ten attempts for me while testing it today on a copied alt. Running back out and in again over the spot where he despawned seemed to work consistently, but may be hard to achieve in gameplay if people don't know excatly where they lost him.

The old 'bug' left his original version in place and spawned a duplicate to resume following you, so is there some way to make it so that his 'stuck' version despawns but a replacement appears consistently? Yes, there's a risk of reinstating his 'daily quest' duplication glitch, I'm not trying to sneak that past you, honest.
Although I woudn't complain if it did come back...
Or maybe relocate his boundaries to encompass the docks and a wider corridor in either direction?

Because when he disappears now, there are a few ways of respawning him:
    - Enter Sunport via Loadscreen Door
    - Recall to the Sleepy Sloth Inn room and he'll reappear upon exiting the Inn
    - Pop in and out of the Outlaw Den via either of its loadscreen doors (he'll reappear upon exiting)
    - Recall to Sunport Wayshrine
    - Recall to any Wayshrine then teleport to Sunport Wayshrine
    - Recall to any other Zone's Wayshrine or player home, then teleport to Sunport, Sunport Docks, Rampart Camp or Shell-Tide Village Wayshrines.
    - Resurrect to the nearest Wayshrine after dying in combat (worked for Rampart Camp Wayshrine)
    But these won't work:
    - Recall directly to Sunport Docks, Rampart Camp Wayshrine, or Shell-Tide Village Wayshrine (despite being within his 'boundary')
    - Run to any Solstice Wayshrine other than Sunport's, and teleport to Sunport Docks, Rampart Camp Wayshrine, or Shell-Tide Village Wayshrine.
And that's more likely to cause confusion and complaints on Live than whatever miniscule chance there is someone might take a detour on the way to that first delve to pick up a daily quest and end up with an extra Darien or two briefly.

Especially when the likelihood is people are going to cut South towards the Quest Marker from the Sunport Docks Wayshrine if they choose to go to the Tarnur Mine site first, and will almost immediately lose him in this spot if they don't stay on the road:

(Location) Calindvale Gardens: Enemies don't seem to automatically return to their location if you've ran away far enough?! Which led to me being "stuck in combat" for something between 5 and 10 minutes because I needed to wait until each single one reached me, so I could end the combat by hitting them once (after the end of the quest, I just intended to run back to the dungeon entrance). Also, fast-travel out will lead to the quest marker of the local quest disappearing. It will automatically reappear once you get close enough to the marked location again.

(Quest) Lost Among the Ashes: I can tell Sirilonwe I'm a vampire although my character is not. There are several dialogue parts related to that.

And seriously, no bug, but still: The ending is frustrating?! Why give us different dialogue choices to choose an npc's fate if it makes no difference in the end because another npc acts against our choice anyway?

And despite there being the dialogue choice system now, why can't I comment on Sirilonwe's behavior afterwards at least? I've noticed that several times throughout the Solstice story, there are situations that would absolutely call for the player character's reaction, but we just can't say anything there. Being able to have different dialogue options in such a (moral-related) situation would be much more interesting from a roleplaying perspective than deciding whether to have soup with some grandma or not (while that was also nice, I admit it - but by far not that meaningful).

(Item) The Staff of Magnus: Now it looks completely different than when we saw it for the first time in ESO. Not sure if that makes much sense when it comes to an important ancient artifact, especially since the design was kept exactly the same in different TES games (in Morrowind, Skyrim and ESO - and well, it was nothing more but a simple line in Arena and Daggerfall, but that was surely due to technical limitations). Now, it looks nothing like that anymore. Also, it looks exactly like the current staff of Vanus Galerion.

After completing the Writhing Fortress (on a CP3600 template) and firing the final blast at the Writhing Wall to bring it down, a section of the Wall is still visible:
    0e0m8zfieqrv.png

It disappeared after picking up 'The Worm Turns' from Azah.

UPDATE: This didn't happen for the copied alt I've finally finished dragging through the Writhing Fortress, but it did for the template alt of one of my groupmates, so it may be a template alt thing or related to the bug they have for picking up "The Worm Turns'?

Curious if this is intentional. Cariel said ayrenn lent it to the mages guild, so i thought it was referring to the events in greenshade where naemon originally stole it from a mages guild vault. Is the staff Vanus and Gabrielle wielded this season intended to be the Staff of Magnus, and this new solstice quest supposed to be them losing it at some point? Artifacts can change appearances between games, and Vanus's staff does have an eye of magnus looking orb in the middle of it.

I wanted to check out the Tide-Born Pool achievement furnishing but the striking locales in Eastern Solstice are not registering for the Solstice Pathfinder achievement. As shown in the screenshot, none of them are ticked off for the achievement but they show as discovered on the map.

Additionally, there is one in the achievement called “Stone-Nest Breakwater” but on the map it’s called “Xaht Jeel Pier”.

Tested on a CP3600 template character, went to all the striking locales in both E and W Solstice to test.

I have fully completed the new content now (More bug reports might follow...) - the new main story including the epilogue and all side quests I could find (Which were about 10 - not sure if I missed one somewhere, but side quests tied to locations are completed, at least). So I know the content of all quests (or almost, if I missed one).

So, with that knowledge I can say: The Stirk Fellowship still has Vanus' staff and keeps it until the end of the story. It never gets lost. The identical-looking staff we see in one side quest in East Solstice is supposed to be the original Staff of Magnus, even if it looks completely different. I'm not even sure how it ended up there, actually the background of the whole story seems like a plothole, unless I might have missed a lorebook somewhere (but actually I'm rather thorough when exploring). Not sure if I should go into detail here because spoilers and because it's not really important for the question/problem - which is that this is supposed to be the Staff of Magnus, it looks different then it looked in earlier ESO quests, it looks identical to the staff of Vanus Galerion (who, on top of that, was said in either the Prologue or Part 1 of the Solstice story that he had crafted that staff himself).

(Quest) Roots in Stone: The ending of the quest in Xor-Hist is bugged. The Voskrona Guardians that were supposed to attack the final boss attacked me instead :D (Not sure if I might have accidentally hit them first? But I had friendly fire disabled - "spare innocents" or whatever it's called in the settings - , but I did use an ultimate at the boss standing nearby and I had Azandar active, so maybe it was related to that?) - Even worse, they have no health bar, so I couldn't defeat them; and I couldn't leave the location either - a courtyard - since I couldn't activate the doors because "stuck in combat". So I let them kill me and respawned at the local wayshrine. Returned to the courtyard, and this time, they left me alone. Boss was defeated. But then, I couldn't turn in the quest because the npc I was supposed to talk to wasn't interactible. There were also some daedra still standing around not reacting to anything.

A different question: With the next patch, would it be possible to provide some preset in which the Solstice main quests 1-6 (1-5: West Solstice, 6: Writhing Fortress) are already completed, so a character could just start the East Solstice main questline without doing any of the quests before that? I'd like to do a bit more main quest testing in the East, but I don't want to spend another 2-3 (or even more) hours in the Writhing Fortress for that.

And to access quest 7 (the first in the East), all quests from the Solstice main questline before that need to be completed (also all quests in the West), otherwise no quest marker will show up for quest 7. It will show for the earliest uncompleted quest of the whole questline - if only quest 6 is marked as completed and quests 1-5 are left open, it will not send you to quest 7, but to quest 1).

Completed 'The Worm Turns' on a copied alt who'd not yet done Coldharbour, and on my way to the cave after lighting the Signal Fire I took a detour back through the Worm Cult's Campsite for curiosity's sake.
I couldn't find Walks-In-Ash or Prince Azah anywhere, but Razum-dar and Skordo were still up on the ballista platforms, watching their new clones firing at the fort.
Well, Raz was watching his, Skordo's one was using a different ballista to the one he was still crouched next to:
    https://youtu.be/aWMpFLMqBGw

I've also added close-ups of the three identical Stirk Fellowship Soldiers (triplets, by any chance?) who are operating the ballista at a site further north, (near where we first met Jeetra when we went looking for Walks-In-Ash and Darien).

So while I was editing the clip for the above post about Raz and Skordo's clones, my game timed out. Not generally a problem, happens a lot, and I'd paused my recording software when I switched to the editing one anyway, so all I'd need to do would be to check where I was, and restart my most recent conversation to make sure I didn't miss anything, then edit out the extra bits afterwards.

Except that something seemed different at the campsite where everyone had gathered, and I couldn't quite put my finger on what... So I abandoned the quest I'd just picked up after completing 'The Worm Turns', stopped my paused recording and started a fresh one, then turned to Darien since he'd had a blink-and-you'd-miss-it comment during Azah's debrief which I'd managed to catch by dropping out of the conversation before picking up 'Hunt For The Great Mage' as the new quest.

And then I see it - while I'd been offline, Darien had changed his armor. Had I missed a line of dialogue about it?

I open up the recording I'd just made, jump to the last few minutes, and Darien's still in his Golden Knight armor, not the Lion Guard Captain style, delivering his lines as I remembered.

So I switch back to the game, and repeat the sequence of dialogue I'd done the first time around - but Darien's pre-quest line is now completely different and I'm wondering what the heck is going on. His next lines do match what I had already recorded though, only that one instance had changed.

So here's a recording of his dialogue in sequence, in each set of armor:
    https://youtu.be/2Jo-_9y_8oQ

I'm guessing it somehow glitched when my game timed out at that point, and I shouldn't be seeing this yet?
EDIT: Yep, the dialogue for his armor happens later, and that line about Gabrielle does too (much later) so I'm going to guess this was a glitch caused by my game timing out at a critical moment. Unfortunately I couldn't revert it back at the time, but I don't know if it will happen due to other factors. I'll check on another alt after the patch.

And why, dear gods but why does his cuirass have to be all in that shade of gold? It looks awful, and some of the parts supposed to be made of metal look dull enough to pass as leather. Or is it just the bad lighting in their location?
Although my preference would be to put him into a full set of Daggerfall Covenant armor, since he wore the guards/boots (medium, that was a surprise) while on Artaeum, and is still carrying the sword from that style now despite changing shield.

Here's the set undyed of the Lion Guard Captain with the Ancestral Breton Sword & Shield dyed in Tower White-Gold/Patron's Gold/Prefect's Gray to match (spoilered to condense message):
    i2xze8dn1nxb.png
    3mw1twwy3ycu.png

And in the Daggerfall Covenant style from that scene on Artaeum, but the full set this time, also undyed:
    fgv5h8onzp4i.png
    0id20mt5vjcs.png

I'll update with anything relevant to this once I've played through more of the quest. And apologies for being snarky, this was just... not what I was expecting. If he's no longer Meridia's Golden Knight, why is he still wearing golden armor?

EDIT: Remember also that his armor as the Captain of the Camlorn Guard was a mix of Breton heavy pieces, I've recreated it here but with the Ancestral Breton sword he likes, and the Breton Shield 4 (instead of his original Breton Shield 1, because its the shape he's used more often and matches the sword better):
    boderjphj9iq.png
    7vgc3mgpacwg.png
    jw4q3uo7rf8y.png
(Which I think looks way better on him than the LGC set, and was in common use throughout High Rock, so it's more likely to be carried by the soldiers who joined the Stirk Fellowship.)

EDIT: Ah, he 'likes the Lions', huh? Please recolour it so it doesn't look like the cuirass had been offloaded cheap due to a nasty accident involving mustard...

Also, when we return to camp after the first part of the quest, I found him not far past the wayshrine, and had the dialogue about his armor change, but it looks like one of the icons is missing which indicate the tone of the response:
    uchjlzhc8uce.png

Found a few more instances of missing icons in dialogue option screens, along with a lot of animation glitches and audio/text dialogue discrepancies. I'm recording this, so I'll put together a full post of all of them I notice once I've finished the rest of the questline.

Pretty sure the tint is part of an encounter. It takes a little bit of time to trigger but it does happen. I went back to that spot since I assumed it was for a quest I hadn't found like the one in Skyrim but it seems to just be for an encounter.

Ah, okay. I'm going to check that another time later.

    (Character) Mannimarco:
I was wondering whether this is an oversight or intentional; at the end of the Writhing Wall quest, we see him without mask, Wormblood-faced in all his moustached glory (He was certainly more handsome before) - but in later quests throughout Part 2 of the Solstice story, he's masked again. Is it supposed to be that way? Why does he wear the mask sometimes and sometimes not? Or is that arbitrary?

I've seen it now. Is it a one-time thing? Because it is interesting.

The only potential issue I see is that it takes a whole while for the encounter to appear, so some people might just assume a bug and continue their way and won't see it.
