Battleground Achievements need a rework

Battleground achievements in the player vs player tab of the journal should be reworked to better align with the changes made to this game mode over the years.

Specifically, the accumulative achievements for all game modes are comically excessive and counterintuitive to the current playstyle of these modes. These numbers should be lowered to better align with the change made to being able to select your BG game mode some years ago. Much like imperial city scamps, murkmire prepper, and larceny achievements were changed as the game evolved.

Example, needing 500 defensive executioner medals for a specific achievement. The flag game modes are not designed to reward defensive play, instead you should move between capture points if your goal is to win. To farm these medals, I would have to stay at a captured flag, pray that my teammates also stay at the flag, and be the lucky one who gets the last tick of damage on an opponent as they die. Currently this has to be done 500 times. In most cases, your teammates will run to the next capture point (as they should if they want to win) and then I am alone trying to defend a flag as multiple enemies come my way (refer back to the flag rotation method mentioned above). If you are extremely lucky, you can get two or three of these medals in a game. You will not get lucky often. Also, at least on my platform, you play the same 20 or so players regardless of MMR. Put plainly, these achievements are a nightmare.

The achievements Walk it Off, Grand Standard Guardian, and Grand Relic Guardian no longer make mathematical sense after the changes that were made to BG’s and present an unrealistic need for farming in one of the games least populated modes.

    Completely agreed. Grand Relic Guardian feels like an achievement made by someone who hasn't played battlegrounds. You're supposed to lose enough that you can't defend your relic, but you are supposed to be good enough to save it at the last second? If you want to grind that achievement in particular, you need to be semi-sabotaging your team by not defending the objective! With the small maps, an enemy might only have a relic for 10 seconds. It's a shame, because the furnishing locked behind this essentially doesn't exist because of how unachievable the achievement is, and it's a great furnishing. Honestly, even non-cumulative achievements like Divine Guardian feel like they need to be changed after the changes to the maps and overall structure of battlegrounds now.

    just play more. I have all BG achievements except for relics on my new account with 580cp, because I don't play in the 8x8 swamp

    the achievements i find to be the most difficult in BGs are the one time ones, like the "heal 200k hp to relic carriers" in BGs, its difficult to get that one especially with only 2 relics because generally most people run the relic back as fast as possible, and overhealing does not count

    so unless they are actively taking dmg, and straight up tanking instead of turning in the ball immediately, its very difficult to get to the quantity required for that

    on the other hand healing chaosball carrier achievement was made 10x easier when they added the 3 chaosball version lol

    Medals too. In capture the relic scoring medals is way more difficult compared to other games.

    New achievements with new rewards would also be awesome.

    New titles luke merciless as well

    Kill the werewolf or vampire 500 times and get their heads on a pike or something like that.

    Hold the normal chaos ball for 300 seconds and get slab of cold steel...er... rubedite.

    Get 20 kills in a 4v4 dm and get some sort of master assassin title and a furniture bobble from the battlemaster.

    Is it still possible to get the "capture both enemy relics in x seconds", when there's always only one enemy relic...?

    One achievement is completely unattainable - Capture BOTH team's relics within 10 seconds of each other.

    i think "merciless" or "the merciless" is already a title, dont remember the achievement off hand though, but i think its from a dungeon

    It is. Requires killing 4 people sequentially each within 10 seconds of the previous. I was just using it as an example of what I'd like to see more of. Kwim
