can you showcase what those furnishings look like together so it is clear how they do not match?

I haven't seen the Sunport ones but this has happened before, although in my example the stones do match but the colours don't!

I loved the Leyawiin Castle structural furnishings but the difference in colour between the walls and the doorway piece has always bugged me a lot!

You simply can’t arrange them without some pillar in between. I wonder if anyone checks the arrangement of „fitting“ elements ingame before they release them…

What shocks me is that they are different to begin with. I'm no game structure piece maker, but it seems like it would have been easier to first create the Sunport Wall, Interior, then create the doorway piece by starting with a copy of the interior wall and adding the doorframe instead of creating the graphic all over again and getting it different.

*shudders* is it just me, or is the doorway wall *taller* than the interior wall? Looks like it is a slight bit larger.

But yeah, I could honestly handle a color difference better than I could the sunport walls. And they are nice walls!

(it also looks, though that may just be the sun shining on it, that the interior wall has more yellow highlights on the trim than the doorway wall trim.)

And, I honestly just don't understand why they would be so different!

I did a lot of messing around with Morrowind (and lesser messing around with Oblivion and Skyrim) textures, and the walls were typically the easiest to have match up.

Create a repeating texture, the wall is a flat surface, apply texture to wall, and boom, you have walls and doorways and everything that will match up texture wise.

It almost seems as if two different (or three) people worked on these particular pieces, so each one used their own texture, and/or applied the texture slightly differently.

What do you expect from the people that brought you doors that don’t fit doorways and decorative ladders to platforms. Seriously, how do end up with two different colors for walls of the same style?

But if I'm honest it slightly accentuates the fact the trims are so different.

Edit:- It is also a slight bit taller than the walls.

This is a nice workaround, but it’s a shame that we even have to have a workaround with something that should be so simple and straightforward.
