Awesome, I'll give that a go later with her laptop.
I was able to get in and go about my business sitting literally right next to her on Sunday, on a severely less powerful laptop with zero issues. There's something seriously wrong with the client right now, hopefully this is a good fix. I'll try updating her nvidia drivers too I guess.

Worth checking the laptop power settings too, a friend had them set to power saving mode rather than full performance and it caused a lot of issues. @g0thiCiCecReaM
