Why can't we preview the buttons of the new house?

Why would I consider spending 14000 crowns on the new house when I can't even preview what the buttons do? Is this a glitch that will be addressed?

    Agree and I usually buy the furnished version so 17,700 crowns. I also would have liked to see the balconies.

    I am not sure if you can really name it "furnished", maybe thats a bug too - when I previewed it "furnished" it only added some carpets...?

    i assume it is due to the buttons changing the house.
    There are other homes with similar interaction like Seabloom Villa and the upcoming Hiddenspring Cottage and Chapel of Julianos that presumably also do not work in preview.

    that does sound like a bug as the furnished version is supposed to have benches, pergolas, and more as well.

    They've never had any buttons work during previews, but it would certainly help with sales. I don't think many people realize that the curtains open and close or that the roof can open up. It was really cool to see on PTS, but a small minority of players would go there just to preview a house. That said, there's probably a YouTube video from PTS showing it off, there are a few dedicated content creators who tour the new houses ASAP.

    When possible, I use Home Tours to preview houses. Would be nice if the crown store preview option was more feature complete though.

    Which house are you talking about? ("the new house" isn't very informative.)

      Theater of the Ancestors is the current new house that costs 14k crowns. it has buttons to interact with the theater spotlights, roof, and drapes.

      You can see the balconies actually (but the pop-up text certainly is misleading) — they are what you see right there. The balcony access toggle closes off access with an effect like the cosmic nebula furnishing, leaving a door closing off access to the balcony.

      Yeah. When I discovered this, it was a bit of a disappointment. Especially given that it's not really a balcony so much as just a ledge. I couldn't understand why they even bothered.

        Do not even start me on that exit on the second floor in Grymharth's woe. I do not understand how someone looked at this and though "Yep, this totally makes sense. Players will love it."
