I'm surprised how many says Greymoor, because what I mostly remember from that story was how annoying the main story was with bad writing. So much repeating dialogue, and how often there was something mysterious and bad happening that was so obvious it hurt. It was Harrowstorms every time, but the npcs where all wHat cOulD it bE. Felt like some angry sportfan screaming at the screen. The Solitude King was yet another obnoxiously obvious bad guy in a long line of them in ESO's writing now.

Not to mention how in a chapter all about vampires, pretty much nobody acknowledges if the player themselves is a vampire.

    Small generalized spoilers ahead.

My own thoughts on the stories:

2024 - Gold Road, West Weald, Ithelia
-Hated how much control was taken from players in the story. First the pact then the ending making stuff feel...moot. Had some fun storytelling thematic moments like the Inn. Just didn't like how HM and Ithelia were treated and/or treated us.
Personally I feel like Ithelia should have been Moonshadow's daughter, since it's almost like she achieved CHIM or a sense of self-awareness Daedra normally cannot achieve with her desire to not threaten the mortal world (and thus go against her Daedric being at the end). Azura's vengence upon HM could be an interesting storyline since he effectively killed/banished (up to interpretation) her.

    2023 - Necrom, Hermaeus Mora
-Hated the pact, didn't feel drawn in to care or believe HM about the threat.

    2022 - High Isle, Bretons
-It was okay. I think part of the problem is it kinda drew back to the main game plot, but nothing was every really resolved in that sense. We have this connection to the war and....it's like an alternate universe island because nothing goes back home.

2021 - Blackwood, Deadlands, Mehrunes Dagon
-I enjoyed the lore and the story a lot, however there were some narrative issues in the sense that the player wasn't really in the driving seat of the adventure. It was the ambitions and other stuff. It made me go, "why is my character here when any hero could do this?"

2020 - Greymoor, Western Skyrim, vampires
-I quite enjoyed this sort of gothic drama until the end of Markarth. There needed to be stakes and this just put in another reset, kind of like Ithelia. Playing the hero to create a reset is not fun. AVOID RESETS would be my personal request. It made the entire 5th season of Fringe pointless (./siderant)

    2019 - Elsweyr, Dragons
-Overall fun adventure. Probably my favorite from start to finish.

    2018 - Summerset, Daedric War
-I enjoyed this part of the daedric war storyline, but didn't care for the beginning.

2017 - Morrowind, Vvardenfell, Daedric War
-I absolutely hated this storyline. Where I originally quit the game and took a break. I think the main issue for me is that I didn't care for Sotha Sil or Vivec as characters. Some of this might be a kind of perspective bias due to knowing how they end up, but that is NOT the only reason. The ending speech/conversation with Sotha Sil...I hated it. To me, I was like "this is what a demonic daedra would say, why are we listening to him?" Psychopaths and sociopaths engage in mirroring to gain trust and so you never get to know them or their darkness. I've always viewed the tribunal as villians, not just because of what they do later on, but because at their core, they're just obsessed with control. I think they could be interesting villians, and personally I'd love an alternate lore/canon universe where we got to really confront them (since even in TES III: Tribunal the choice is taken from us). But for me, going on trips for 2 villains across essentially 2 zone storylines...probably my least favorite content...next to doing it again later for HM.
