Just read through the week 1 Update 47 patch notes and am loving the direction.
When Subclassing dropped, my first thoughts were… “well this is awesome, now subclasses can finally start to really develop an identity…”
Trading an armor buff that really has no place on a Lightning skill line for more damage is 100% the way ESO needs to be moving, but why stop there? There are several skill lines that are all over the place.

✭When I look at the three Elemental skill lines, and what they currently do…
Ardent Flame = Flame Damage and Healing
Winter’s Embrace = Frost Damage and Defense
Stormcalling = Lightning Damage and Evasion
It makes sense that Lightning Form no longer provides any Defense. Stormcalling was further defined this update while a skill line like Winter’s Embrace still has a burst heal, or Ardent Flame still snares people with that definitively a Frost Damage thing?
