With mythic items adding unique and diverse builds, I was just wondering if there is any plan to introduce mythic weapons for each weapon type? Maybe that's the whole point of arena and master weapons, but I just had the idea that this would be something to start considering now that subclassing is a thing. Not sure if and how they would be tuned, but maybe this could entice some purebred builds, even though that would be counterintuitive for the sale of subclassing... Just being mindful of the role players like myself here.
First though would be a mythic staff (Magic damage) similar to a resto staff damage type, and also without the elemental aspect of the destruction staff line... But wielding this staff gives the user x, y, z... For example...
I am a necromancer enthusiast, if you couldn't tell by the name, but lets just say this mythic staff buffs the damage of your summons by a certain percent based on the number of active summons you have. Lets just say 2% increased direct damage per summon up to a max of 12% or so. This is just an example and would be totally biased towards summoner builds and classes but its been on my mind.
For one handed weapons the Mythic weapon itself would unlock one hand and spell casting skill line. And depending on the weapon type retains its former buffs (axe-crit damage/ dagger - crit chance/ sword-damage/ mace- penetration)
one hand and shield mythic offering a damage role for a brute warrior play style instead of your typical tank. Theres endless ideas but the point here is... Mythic Weapons would be great.
Or keep the as is and leave this type of role to arena and master weapons.
