Next best thing is an Argonian DK. Fire breathing, wings, draconic magic. Only thing missing is shouting. But that would never happen.

Maormer race and Dwarven Tinker class!

if they introduced dwarves, it would be cool. But as far as I know, there are no dwarves in The Elder Scrolls. There are only small Bosmeri and hobbits.

Druids are fun in every mmo, odd they didn't come with High Isle if they were going to do it though.

"Dwarves" in the Elder Scrolls universe refers to the presumably extinct Dwemer. I wouldn't be upset if they found a way to let us interact with them though, even in a vision of the past or something, as long as they were done well as a distinct race and not just reused Dunmer assets or something.

    Hobbits?!

I don't think the Druids are considered a race in this game. They are basically just a separate sect of Bretons who follow Y'ffre.

Well, we already have a nature-themed Class. And with Subclassing, I'd personally make a Dk + Sorc + Warden combo to match with the 3 Druid Circles seen in the Systres:

Firesong can use something from the Dragonknight's skills.
Eldertide works best with Sorc's Storm Calling in my opinion.
And Stonelore can use something from the Warden's skills.

It has always been speculated that a future class would've been an Alchemist, but at this rate I don't think a new class is even possible anymore.

As for a serious opinion, my money is on some type of BattleMage, or Monk. The game already has Unarmed Magic abilities given to NPCs.

Really instead of a Class id want more Weapon Trees. One Hand & Rune or Unarmed.

I think the major question people ask when it comes to one of the old-classes-that-was-in-TES-for-a-while-but-people-really-are-talking-about-the-DnD-class is: how would it work?

Remember, Classes in ESO need to be able to play all roles and be capable (not necessarily meta) at using all weapons and all armor. They need three skill lines, and even the Systems Designers are considering those lines as tank/heal/damage. That's where a lot of the class idea fall apart, because they don't make sense in those other roles - in DnD, you don't really have the flexibility to make a character of one Class do a different role or use gear they're not proficient in.

Take Barbarian - sure we can all see how a greataxe/medium armor/DPS barbarian would work. What about a Barbarian in heavy armor (which impedes the rage in DnD, and is specifically stated in the TES descriptions they don't use)? What about a Barbarian with a destro staff? What about a Barbarian healer?
I always come in with this when people start talking about Monks too, which is another one of those Classes that TES also has. People always go on about a Monk class doing a lot of martial arts, but an ESO Class requires that "greatsword, heavy armor Monk tank" be a thing in that case.

I think a lot of people who want a DnD/old TES Class are really saying "I want a single skill line, like a Bard line or an unarmed weapon line"

Ahhh, great points! However... take some time to think beyond straightforward approaches:

    Barbarian-
Ritual Magic (Healer Line): Use the powers of rituals
Rage (Tank Line): Getting more and more peeved makes you tougher to kill
Frenzy (DPS Line): the spirit of battle incites you to further violence

A tank could wear heavier armor (thinking otherwise is a very "I'm stuck in D&D" thought process), like dragonbone armor, lore wise, but I could see one wearing gold armor blessed by the gods, or rusty dented armor looted from fallen enemies, or even as homage to the Draugr they might respect and honor greatly.
Monk? Yeah, that's a tough one... probably should keep that to simply adding Brawling & Physical Staff skill lines. Go play Monk. BUT... maybe we could do it? Different monastic orders hold different beliefs and practices. So, maybe base them loosely on some in TES historical or religious entities?

Julianos (Healer Line- would become the Order of the Dragon eventually)
Azura (Tank Line- Knights of Azura monastic order)
Talos could be a good DPS line...

But, Monk IS pretty problematic. I think what players mostly want is the ability to twirl a quarterstaff or be pugilists. So, better to stick to that.
Bard... again, limited only by imagination.
Dirges (Tank Line): These songs buff them & allies to endure hardships
Hymns (Healer Line): Holy songs to lift spirits, motivate for spiritual healing
Anthems (DPS Line): Blood-pumping songs that get the party psyched

Using the mentality of the points you gave would have led us to never having Necromancers, either, as it would limit them to being thought of as only being robe-wearing casters. I mean, D&D punishes casters severely for wearing any form of armor at all. Yet, we have a solid tank, healer, and DPS line setup, and they can wear whatever they want.
As for a new race... I'd go with Maormer. And, kinda think they might be leading up to that already. Think about how non-problematic water is currently, sure a bit of an annoyance, but most bodies aren't big enough to warrant needing to add 'swimming' to mounts. But, they ARE doing that. So, I think somewhere in the future, they plan to add enough water-based content to make swimming something players will want to spend the 50 days training up, not just do it because they have the other 3 traits, may as well do it.

In that case, they could add underwater content... that would make Maormer very attractive. Would also allow for a mythic for water-breathing and action (underwater fighting might suffer from a slow-effect otherwise), new potions, and more. Might even add new scripts specific to being underwater.

Just saying, would really boost the potential for content, and more stuff to get players to buy in the store.
